WipEout: The Music.
It took A LOT of tedious work, but I have collected every WipEout soundtrack, except for the Sega Saturn exclusive WO1 tracks (stupid CDIMAGE.ELF file), CoLD SToRAGE HD (why the frak did he take down his bandcamp?), and the music from the European and Japanese WipEout Pure DLC.
By taking the complete soundtracks of every WipEout game, as well as the offshoot soundtracks, I hope to have the best WipEout HD playlist anyone has ever listened to.
If anybody can extract the three exclusive songs from the Sega Saturn WO1 disc, and/or figure out how to extract the DLC .WAD files for WipEout Pure, let me know.

But... heat sinks aren't supposed to make any noise (you might be referring to your fan). Unless you mean a BattleTech/MechWarrior heat sink, in which case they usually make lots of noise.
Still, the sound of a new cooling system for your computer can always be rather unsettling; some are just plain louder than others, some make a clicking noise that they shouldn't be, some might produce an unusual pitch that you're not used to, etc.
Maybe you could put a camera and/or microphone next to your computer's fan, so I could diagnose the problem?
