    Default Wip3out Poster

Hi there just joined up cause I'm having some trouble finding a good high resolution image to save and take down my local printing shop the get printed out on a poster. Unless anyone can find somewhere they sell this poster.

The image I'm looking for is the one on the front of the case of Wip3out. I've found loads of images on Google of the case but nothing like the poster I came across when searching Google which in turn lead me to this forum, if anyone can get a high resolution clear image of this I would be eternally grateful.

This is the image I'm looking for.

It's still not the original render though, look at the logos on the bottom

That's pretty damn perfect just what I'm looking for, thanks for that I shall see what Photoshop can do with that.

    Thank you very much insertcoin.

If anyone else has anything like this high res would be much appreciated.

Well I hope you will be pleased I took that image down to my local printing shop and they printed it on some good quality A1 size paper. I then popped over to Wilkinson's to grab a frame which they had just what I wanted. All in all the end result as you will see is quite satisfying and only cost me £25, £17 for the print and £8 for the frame.

Pretty nice, but you should link to these pictures

Don't post images > 50k in size - post a link to them instead so that folk on a slow connection or viewing the board with a mobile device can at least make a choice of whether to view them or not. Do not post a series of small images if the total size of all images is more than 50 Kilobytes - it's better to post one and add the rest as attachments or links. Breaking this rule will currently lead to a 48hr ban.
    From the guidelines

Looks really good though, although I'm not sure 25 pounds is a deal for a poster here (50$)

I never really found a good picture of that poster... so i decided few days ago to recreate this one in Ilustrator It was a good practice for me ;p

Here's the result... i didnt made the logos in the bottom couse they are in bad quality ;/ maybe ill do it later and the colors... i have to change them into the original ones but after all its looking quite good oh and its in vector so theres no loss of quality if u resize it

    PDF Wipeout Poster

EDIT: If u dont see the difference zoom it as much as u can it will help u out

That's really good I quite like it being a bit simpler, yea the vector is much better when making it larger my print wasn't to bad but I would have liked a perfect print.

Can you make a version with out the Wip3out logo? I could make some nice avatars with it if you do.

    Default Logo specifics

No need to vectorize the logos, they're already available from tDR's guidelines:

    http://kleber.net/wipeout3/teams/qirex/images/logo.swf

replace "qirex" with any of the team names and you get everything... dimensions, size restrictions, RGB color values, etc

    UPDATE

Finally Ive finished this with almost the same colors as the original and team logos

    Here are the results:

Wipeout Poster (With Team Logos and Wip3out Logo)

    Poster 01

Wipeout Poster (With Team Logos Only)

    Poster 02

I think thats all I was too lazy to create logos with names (bad quality files + no original fonts) so i decided to recreate only logos but afterall i think it looks quite good

BTW: To the great Admin If its ok with the copyrights and if You want add it to the download page so maybe somebody gonna print it ;p

    An amazingly excellent job, congratulations

It would be even better with the lines but I guess that is just too much to ask because of the sheer number of lines needed.

    Saved them both.

    Very nice, Infected - saved.

Just one small thing - maybe I'm a nitpicker - but the original Poster used Helvetica for the "WIPEOUT VER 03.00.02." and not its evil twin Arial. Yeah, I know...

Unfortunately, you won't find Helvetica for free (expect you've got a Mac - it's one of the fonts that come with the system).

For the lines: Someone who actually has the poster could make a few close-up shots of it so there's not need to use the low-res image as a basis.

I might be able to find Helvetica. I'm good at that sort of thing. I'll tell you if I do.

Just ordered a Wip3out poster on ebay () – I can make a few detailed photos when it arrives; just if you're still interested in modifying the artwork
