Who of you play any of Codemasters F1 Games?

Stupidly I bought all of them :P

Me and a friend play 2013 on occasion, though only halfers since full length's take to much time now, what with life and all. I have a question though, why in the hell would you buy all of them?

I started in 2010, than I bought the new 2011, than 2012, than 2013 and just for "historical" reasons I bought F1 2009 in the PSN Story

Ah, I only started in 2012 since I use to be a Forza/DiRT fanboy and never really cared to play anything else. I'd always thought F1 racing would be boring but it's surprisingly fun.

While it does not count, I have played the 2012 demo...contemplating the 2013 version but I may just wait till the price for the 'complete' version (classic) comes out...but we'll see.

The demo has tempted me a lot... and similiar for GRiD 2...but I'm still weighing my options.

Ähm...Classic Version is not longer avaiable, and will never be again.
You can buy the Standart Edition and the Classic DLC's (BTW already cheaper than Classic Edition as it was released)

Grid 2 is fun with friends, but alone it sucks. I wasn't really looking forward to Grid 3 but then I saw the new trailer and it had rally, so I'm defs sold on that. The new F1 2014 looks pretty decent too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIW2c6XTmS0

Sounds nice, anyways.

Also what is wrong with classic? I still play it on occasion.

Nothing is wrong, I just said that you can't longer buy all classic stuff all-in-one.

BTW Dirtbag, the video that you posted is not F1 2014, it's F1 2013 as you can see by the high nose of the car. This game is modifyed with a 2014 Williams-Martini Skin, a Sound Mod, a 8-Gears Mod and an ERS Mod (making the usage of KERS longer and more powerful,as ou can see the player still has to press a button for this)

Oooh. I've been duped. Still I'm actually more amazed that's just a mod and not the actual thing. What people can do is amazing cause that sounds really good.

2002 was a F1 game released called Grand Prix 4, there are also some 2014 Mods avaiable XD

Grand Prix 4 was absolutely great and for me it was probably the best F1 game in history, but Codemaster's series is also more than decent, especially if you play it on the G27;). Anyway loved GP4 and playing as Jean Alesi;).

Huge fan of F1 here. I play 2011 and 2013 almost as much as WipEout! :D

@JustinCase: yep, GP4 is still the greatest, especially on the hardest settings. 1 mistake and the race is over! i used to play 'hot seat' mode with my pal, everyone chooses 2 or 3 drivers, then we play a complete season, with every single session of every single GP weekend (always full GP distance). no restart or **** like that, if you are out, you are out! i won the championship with 1 point ahead of my pal (41 points for me [giancarlo fisichella]; 40 points for him [jacques villeneuve]).

Currently I'm building a mod consisting of cars, drivers and tracks from 1993 - 2014

I play a lot of GPL 1967. I love the wingless F-1 era, so much drift.

Wow, nice! What was also cool about GP4 was the manual - dunno if anyone of you remembers it but it was like some kind of compendium on F1 racing, car settings, aerodynamics, etc, it was more like a book, I think with 200 pages or so. They did a similar thing with Gran Turismo 5 - really nice stuff!

Edit: found a picture with it: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Grand-Prix-2-Complete-In-Box-PC-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjg0/z/fNkAAOxy4fVTB4Rm/$_57.JPG

I remember that there were some instructions about racing, the name editing and driving aids...
