National In Germany the GEMA (a semi-private Copyright agency - noone likes them) wants to earn money for every attached - or even just a linked - YouTube video. Even if it's you own!

Don't they already earn money for each youtube play? That defeats the purpose of charging for embeded videos, since you can only charge if someone actually views it. The best comparison I can find is someone getting charged just by saying the name of the song on the street. And charging for links doesn't make a needle tip of sense, mainly because they can't copyright a random string of numbers and letters.
