UPDATED POST

As you're all probably aware by now, I love to make music :)

I was first inspired by Total Drivin's soundtrack when we got a PlayStation. I used to listen to it all the time on my CD player, and still love it now.
This led to a passion for electronic music, and got into bands/artists such as Kraftwerk, FSOL and CoLD SToRAGE.

In 2010 my dad purchased an iMac (he makes/records music too), where he also purchased programs such as Reason and Logic.

Suddenly I'm in high school (2011), where music was the school's specialty. With my previous knowledge of music and piano, I definitely enjoyed these classes.
Our teacher gave us a composition assignment, which was when I made my first proper song (Scratched Disc). It was at this point I realised that I could make music too.

2013 was the year things really started moving. I released my first album (hence the thread title), worked with the school to make Wayfaring Stranger covers (which were performed), and also became a finalist in Tropscore 2013 :)

Fast forward to now, I'm studying sound production at TAFE, which will take me to a course in Uni that focuses on sound in media (including video games).

Pretty much all of my music up to 2014 is available on Bandcamp, including a remastered version of the first album: https://theconzio.bandcamp.com/
Hope you enjoy :D

Quick sidebar @theconzio: Have you had the opportunity to use an Ableton Synth? I've got the latest FL Studio, Absynth, and a few midi controller programs. I've been trying to use a Protracks mixer, and I was wondering if there are any limitations with the Ableton with that rig. Using a mouse just doesn't cut it.

Any thoughts? I'm gonna try to start doing some mashups using my own original mixes.

Good work btw too ^_^

Sorry mate, haven't used Ableton before, so I'm not sure what the limitations would be. I use mainly Reason 3 and 5, Cubase 4, and Logic Pro X.

Yep, I don't remember that being part of the application but oh well, it's there :P Hopefully it will be on iTunes soon enough.

I just noticed you can't buy the album from eMusic if you're from Australia, haha the irony :lol

That would suck if I did not use iTunes to buy my digital music, but since I do, that doesn't bother/affect me. :D

I haven't created a song in a while, so I made a new one!

It's more of a club/dance genre (like The Main Event), rather than my usual 90's style electronica.

Hope you'll enjoy it!

They think that the song was made by someone else, so they blocked it worldwide.

As soon as the album comes out, I can prove them wrong :)

@stin Haha yes, blue rain is intended for relaxation! I'm glad that you're enjoying the music :)
