Help! My computer is stuck on 16 colours and 640 x 480 px!
I normally have it on 24 -bit colour and 1280 x whatever px, and it frequently does change resolution of its own accord, but it's always been solveable by changing the settings in display properties.
However, it won't let me do that now. The resolution slider will only go up to 1024 x 768 px and the colour only goes up to 16-bit. I can't even change them - it lets me move the sliders, then tells me I have to restart. It does so but no change occurs. I've restarted and shut down several times, but to no avail.
I've looked on Google and the computer's help files, and the video card is still there (it's a 3dfx voodoo). Help!
