Sorry I didn't get around to doing one of these in August, it was kind of a crazy month. July's event was a belter though, so hopefully this one will be just as good.

I'll be starting at around 10am (GMT) on Saturday, and will keep rooms open until around 10pm. The day will be a mixture of races, tournaments, ZB, Elims... I'd like as much variety as possible for this event, and if anyone fancies hosting, just say.

If anybody needs an invite to The Ozone Room, let me know and I'll send you a friend request from my Erik_Ponti account.


Room's that will be hosted throughout the day include:


Phantom Single Race – traditional Grand Prix (All tracks, forward and reverse... one race with weapons, one without)

Rapier Single race – traditional Grand Prix

Flash Single Race – Weapons on

Zone Battle – 50 – 55 target, selected tracks

Rapier Eliminator – variable targets, selected tracks





* Bling Brigade Room - 3.00pm(GMT)

** Endurance Trophy match (12 race rapier tournament) - available on request, for anyone who needs it.


As always, new players are more than welcome, and if anybody has any requests or challenges they'd like to issue, just shout. And I'd love it if some of the retired pilots could come out for the day.

Vaakneri - There's a room or two going at the moment. All room's are public so if you see a lobby full of people from here, it's an Ozone lobby. Then just send a message to the host and ask for an invite to The Ozone Room (chat room).

I'm just on a break at the moment, but I'll be back online at 6.30 (40 mins from now). When I get back online I'll send you a friend request with my Erik_Ponti account, same for you HovrChild.

HovrChild - Sorry, I didn't realise you were after BB, we were as it happens getting it for a few others at the time. If you're still around this evening we can get it for you, no problem.

I'm really glad that I swung by for a few races earlier this morning. Gave me a nostalgic reminder of just how much I loved this game and how awesome the community truly is.

Thanks to everybody who turned out yesterday. I tried to get everybody's name in The Ozone Room, if I missed anybody do tell me...

It's a shorter list than previous events, and it was definitely quieter than usual, but there are still people from all over the World in that list, which I think's pretty cool. More importantly, there are new people in that list, and as long as that's the case it's definitely worth doing. It was a really good laugh, with some mental races. The Zone Battles and Elims were a lot of fun too, in fact I want more of those next time.

Special thanks to LJ, who hosted far more than me during the day, and was there pretty much for the duration. Also DP for having a few races with us early doors, and breaking a few records (rusty eh?).

I'm really sorry if I buggered up with new players. It's difficult to host races and manage the other side of it, especially with the whole 2 PSN accounts thing.

It's probably worth stressing though that Ozone is not an invitational event, anybody can just turn up. All lobbies are kept public for this very reason. Although the list above is people who were in the chat room, many more people raced with us during the day, and were as much a part of the event.

So if you'd like to attend a future Ozone, just go online and find us. Then give me or one of the other Zoners a shout and tell us you'd like to join the chatroom. Job's a good un. Or shout out here, apologies for not keeping an eye on this thread and my PMs yesterday. Won't happen again.

Anyway thanks again, I'll sort something out for October.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Also next time, I'm going to shorten the event slightly. The first couple of hours are usually pretty dead, so from now on I'll start at around 12 pm. And we'll have any team events scheduled for a specific time in the evening.

We should try and bring back the international matches, we could easily have done a couple of those on Saturday.

This is by far the longest video I've ever done, so you won't be get bored that easily... perhaps.
