It's a sad day, Tony Scott directed two of my favourite fims, True Romance and Man On Fire :(

Uh, I'm shocked right now. He made great films. What made him to do this?

According to many sources he had inoperable brain cancer. I really want to link to an iconic scene from True Romance (or embed it), but I'm pretty sure it violates the Zone's guidelines on offensive material. Shame 'cause it's cinematic genius :(

True Romance was awesome! 2 great scenes - when Hopper and Walken are in the trailor: just amazing, 2nd any scene with a stoned brad pitt was very very funny.

Yeah it's the first of those I'm on about. The scene with Gary Oldman and Christian Slater is superb as well. It's a great piece of filmmaking, clearly the best script Tarantino's written.

oh yeah! I forgot about Gary Oldman in it.. God he plays an absolute mentalist! So many great actors in that film.

Such a sad notice. I didn't watch True Romance but Man on Fire is one my favourites.
May he rest in peace.

So many great actors in that film.

Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, James Gandolfini, Samuel L Jackson, Victor Argo, Val Kilmer, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, Brad Pitt... it's a frankly ludicrous cast, arguably the best I've seen in any film.

And Ragsus, yes Man On Fire is an incredible movie, it's like an epic tragedy with only one possible trajectory. Love it.
