Syncopia Glitch : Patched with 2.50?

As you can see I managed to run the glitch Syncopia (for the first time) but then there is a large padlock on the track.
It will have been patched with the patch 2:50?

Too bad if they fixed it... It was a nice hidden "add-on", haha
But the strange thing is, if they really wanted to fix this, why did they even keep the Syncopia track symbol there??

I've raced on Syncopia on all race classes in both TT and SL so I've performed the glitch many times. I do remember that occasionally this exact situation could happen, that the Syncopia icon appears, but is locked with a padlock. Just try the glitch again and it will hopefully work! I have not tried to access Syncopia since 2.50, but I don't think they would bother to remove it with a patch. They have other things on their mind right now. Good luck!

That blank option happens if your cursor isn't on Tech De Ra Reverse when you back out of the track selection screen. I doubt that it's been patched.

You mean you can re-create that bug?
As for now I thought it's always a coincidence when it happens.. Just stick around Tech De Ra rev and move around while selecting and go back...


I managed to get that locked cell once but accidentially hit UP too fast. But I on the cell where normally Tech De Ra fwd should be, there was also Syncopia. Maybe you can try to select this one instead but beware: Once you get away from the Tech De Ra section and go back on it, the Syncopia disappears on the Tech De Ra fwd field and you can't select the Tech De Ra bwd again!

Woops, sorry for double posting...

I can confirm now that the glitch is still working on Version 2.50
I finally managed to get the locked cell again [it takes some time indeed] and could select the track right away. As you can see, my time even got updated to the Leaderboards.
@SuperRyuga: Maybe your controller ran out of power :D

I tried again and the glitch has worked. ( Finally, Syncopia *.* )
Anyway, I have a question : to run on Syncopia online, the process is the same?

Leungbok [YouTube name -BADTESTERZ] made a YouTube video of how to recreate the glitch Saturnreturns accidentally found, that's if new forum members are wondering WTF people are talking about in this thread.
It allows you to play the otherwise zone only track Syncopia, as a online multiplayer race track.
I had a brief troll through his posted videos , not sure if it is still a private video, see little point of it being still so if it is....have a look through them for yourself and see if it's there.

The little padlock thing happens when you don't select "Syncopia" too fast when the glitch happens.If you instantly confirm the choice before the track miniature shows up on the side it will work,if it shows up and you didn't select it the track will be locked and you need to do the glitch again.

Tried that glitch today with the 2.51 patch, it's still working. And, my time got updated to the leaderboards immediantly, lol. [Check Syncopia, Speed Lap, Flash]

I cant do this!!! syncopia doesn't even show up on TT or SL so i don't know how you do it lol?
the youtube videos that iv seen just pick speed lap, rapier and then syncopia pops up?
No matter what i do the zone tracks never appear... very frustrating lol

It takes a loooot of time sometimes and some other times it happens right away. I think I sat down for 15 minutes until it finally popped up. Keep trying. What I did sometimes in between was checking online records, options, rankings etc. and got back to trying.

I am working on finding out how that glitch works. Actually I could reproduce it tonight all the time.... Until I restartet my PS3 and my "glitch routine" did not work any more :(

By the way: I saw there are several single race entries of Mallavol in the online rankings, I wonder if that one can also be "glitch-raced" on.

It's nothing that lets your PS3 crash or destroys your game. Actually it's like you unlock a track for a new race mode. Consider it more to be a "bonus" than a glitch. Watch a video of it, it won't harm anything, just looks weird^^

Once I can use my wiring for PS3 again, I will try to make it reproduceable again.
I love finding glitches actually... Travel back in time 7 yrs and I tell you every single glitch for GTA 3 xD

its fun but because Syncopia was originally just a zone track its clearly not designed to be a technically difficult track. Its pretty easy to navigate at low speeds lol

Unfortunately, there are no weapon pads so eliminator gets a bit boring.

I would love that on WipEout 2048, this will be awesome to have combat without weapon pads, we will be able to do (long) races in A+ class with this bug.

120lap race phantom wep off = no shield the entire race :D

well i don't know what's special about this glitch, if only you can race with other 7 players and choose a difficulty and speed class.

Screw that, its time to find a glitch that lets us do Vector! That way, the race can last 3 hours.
