What do the small grey icons mean

See the title. In the menu tree, I see little grey icons that indicate a ship or a trophy or something I am not aware of. What do they mean?

Is there a full guide available on how to achieve what in 2048?

I am trying to love the game, but as many others, I also do find it does need racebox.

I believe you are referring to locked events. Play the game to unlock them.

I know, rocket science is a difficult field, isn't it? But I'll save you the hours and hours of hard math and let you in on the secret: passing events unlocks the touching nodes.

Amplificated, perhaps I was not clear enough. But please do not assume too much.

Take a look a the photo. I wonder what the pink nodes are. For the left one I should finish the blue race first. But what about the right pink one?

Apparently you can use the back touch pad in the map menu to unlock stuff. Haven't tried it yet though
