What hud do you guys use?

I personally use the classic 2097 hud just because it's the same one as the first wipeout game I've ever touched, wipeout 64 ;)

Default here. I find it the easiest to read, and the rear proximity indicator is nice to see if people are catching up to you, you don't have that in the other HUDs.

Technically you have it in the WO3 HUD, which is what I use, but it's admittedly not as accurate as the HD/Fury one

Actually I use the HD hud since I got used to it. But for Zone mode I think I will change it because in the other hud you can see the 10 seconds counting, which I think is helpful [at least for me].

You can see the countdown in the HD one too, the small circles in front of the zone names light up to indicate that. It also got the best proximity detector, and I find it more stylish than the previous versions.

i'm use the wip3out hud, i like because is minimalist, and in my tv (a flat screen, i don't have lcd), and looks really nice, and sometimes, use the hd/fury hud, is really sexy xD

I use the Wip3out HUD because it's a lot like the Pulse HUD (which was my first WipEout), and I don't need to divert my eyes much to see remaining ship energy.

When I first got Wipeout HD [my first Wipeout all in all] I used the HD one, but now I switched to Wip3out since I think this one looks much nicer and is better to read.

Having tried all the HUD's over the years, I must admit I find the HD the best.
Why?
Well the proximity alert/gauge is far far better than any of the others.

Test it out yourselves in combat at Rapier or Phantom speeds.

But in zone mode the HD HUD is massive lol. Different HUDs are better suited for different modes though thats for sure. Didn't WipEout Pure have your current speed shown in zone mode? I liked having that shown.

Personally, I find the HD HUD the most beautiful, and simple. I wouldn't change it for other. :P

I always use the Wip3out style HUD. I like the minimalist theme, and the way the proximity detector uses an arrow, rather than a sliding notch.

Wip3out, the standard HD display is nice but far too busy and thus too distracting.
The warning icons are too small though :(

Wip3out HUD,.. i like its minimalistic and clean design, "less its more" i think
in zone mode, i prefeer the XL one, everything at sight
when you have less than a part of a second to check energy or your position, HUD is critical

Wipe3out HUD.
The icons and gauges are a bit smaller and there is a color leading indicator for weapons which can be usefull, especially when you can pick up 2 weapons one after the other.

I used to use the 2097/XL hud then I changed back to the original HD hud :)
