Apparently super car enthusiasts were cruising at illegal speeds and initiated a terrible accident.

Seems no one was hurt beyond minor injuries, but those cars are wrecked. I can only imagine driving in that pack when it happened.

It's like a dozen insurance companies cried out at once and then were silent. :)

If I remember correctly from the news article, the total pile up involved 8 Ferraris, 3 Mercedes, a Lamorghini... and a Toyota Prius

Saw it on my random MSN seasons. (MSN is a homepage for a set of school computers I use.) It did not note a Prius nor did it state anything about speed limts. But what do I know?

German newspapers say that the supercars were driving about 160 kmph on a street where only 80 kmph are allowed and that two Toyotas (models were not stated), which were not part of the line of supercars, were involved in the accident. It's very good to hear that nobody was severly injured though. I wonder if those supercard drivers will have to pay for at least part of the damage by themselves if they were really cruising at illegal speeds.

If I would own one of those cars, it would´ve probably ended up the same way for me. :|
It´s healthier to loiter at home along with the PS3, playing WipEout, Blur or Motorstorm. :+
