Facebook page to try to get Cold Storage on the WO2048 soundtrack.

Hi people.

We have set up a little facebook page to see if we can persuade Sony to put at least 1 Cold Storage track on Wipeout 2048. I know it is a long shot but with a push through gaming forums I think it might work.
I speak to Tim fairly regularly and I know he would like be involved and I am sure he fans would love to see him on the game as he is the sound of Wipeout.

I got a message about this so I added the descriptions to most of the popular videos at my channel. Hopefully this petition will at least help boost the awareness of this good cause because I really like to see Cold Storage's name in the soundtrack list.

Cold_Storage should be flattered. I can't see what the rave over his music is all about, to be perfectly honest. I hate to break the positive vibe in here, but in case The Developers are browsing, I just want to have a voice saying that not everybody is a big fan... or in my case, a fan of any sort at all. I personally just think it's the nostalgia that has people over in knots.

It's not nostalgia for me. Given that WipEout HD was my first substantial WipEout experience. But I still think that some of the best fitting music from the games is stuff by CS, even if I wouldn't necessarily listen to it outside the game. With custom soundtracks I don't see a problem anyway - they'll allow CS fans to be sated with the default soundtrack and everyone else can just change to a custom soundtrack with more commercial stuff, or whatever they please.

Eheh, in my HD soundtrack I have some of James Brown's hits: Get On Up, I Feel Good and The Funky Drummer! Believe me, that makes up for some funky races! :g

While I'd be stoked if he was part of the official OST, he might do what he did with HD and just release a sorta congruent set of tracks associated with wipeout.

I thought Sasha's tunes for WipEout 3 were a better fit for "WipEout" in general, though the music could have been a bit more dynamic.
