Just got HD Fury but why am I soo slow

The (Online) enemies just whiz by at the start and I try to hit all the blue patches but have no chance of keeping up!

Keep getting lapped all the time !

Have I missed something or ?

Have patience. Read the multiple other threads that already answer your question and pretty much anything you could want to know (look around and use search). Wax on, wax off. Gradually you'll improve.

But mostly read other threads.
