I thought i would start a topic about the Global Elitists (illuminati). These are the people who supposedly control all of our governments, banks and mainstream media to name a few. Its like a giant game of sim city for them. i do believe that our governments have no power and all of there decisions are already made and if they dont go by the 'elitists' rules they will go the same way as president kennedy. prime ministers and presidents arnt elected, there selected. Do you have any thoughts on this? are the people who believe this just conspiracy theorists? or are the people who disbelieve deniers? I know quite alot on this subject for those people who want to know more.:twisted

Lol, thanks nutcase! and i have never played MGS, to many cutscenes for my liking! yes freemasonry play a big part of the illuminati! i get all my information from alex jones! he has made alot of films on these subjects, he reads through government documents and posts them on his website! so basically everything he says is true as its straight from the governments! all his films he has made are free for us to watch so you dont need to read up on it and if you still dont believe him he tells you were to find the written documents! i wont post his website but just google alex jones and look at the videos for yourselves! very interesting stuff.

I can't say I believe that the world is ruled by a so-called illuminati, however there is no denying that politics and commerce (and sometimes religions but let's not go into that) are entwined and inseparable, and that the world is completely at the mercy of the way the commercial system falls/rises.

So, yes, I'm certain that these systems are controlled by a proportionately small number of elitist people in power, whether in certain organizations (world bank, UN, etc) or certain countries (leaders of major nations - US, China...)
The thing is, although they have such power, the thing they supposedly "control" cannot be controlled all the time (if at all). Recessions/depressions can't be controlled, many times they are at the mercy of every person on the globe.
The illuminati can try to brainwash you and I into buying more merchandise through their global media web of lies, but if you and I don't want to spend the money that is supposedly worth something, we won't. So they don't have the power after all.

The point is they want the planet to themselves they own the u.s army and alot of other countrys. are you going to mess with them? These days we are celebrity mad which is there distraction to get people sitting in front of there tvs and forgetting about the real world. They control everything right down to the fluoride in your tap water and price of chocolate, why? because they can and it makes them richer through our taxes. theres no recession, they have the money along with giant multibillion dollar corporations who stockpile it. lol, take a look at 1 of those films they will explain it alot better than me... im not paranoid about this i just accept it just like a person who believes in god.

No, you are right, actually that is the ultimate goal of the United Nations. Along with that, I've read there are official documents within the UN that to attain this, they aim to eliminate religions which they feel are a major dividing force within the world. If I remember right, this was partially published in the NY Times a couple of years ago...this is one of those times I wish I'd copied and saved an article.:blarg Because it is creepy how one huge organization aims to control our lives. @megageeza: you say they control all of these things and that the documentation is free for all to see, also that they want the world to themselves.
So I have a couple of questions:
1. if they control all of these menial things, like how much flouride is in the drinking water to use your example, then how do they have time to do the important stuff like make sure there are people crazy enough to fly planes into buildings, because if they control everything then they control that too?
And if they do indeed as you say control everything wouldn't they have to be a very large group of people, and not just the policy makers on the top (who by the way must be insanely well educated to know not just how to make crazy people but also how to make water drinkable or otherwise.) there would have to be a huge structure beneath them who also knows the truth.
How does it all work?

2. If they are a secret society, so secret in fact that it can control the entire world, then how does Alex Jones know about them? and how can he speak freely about them without them getting him killed? I mean it would be easy if they can pull things like the iraq war off, so why not him? unless he's nowhere near the truth and therefore isn't a threat?

3. What would be the point of having the world to themselves? I can understand a desire to rule it yes, but what is the point of having it all to themselves? now maybe I am being to literal here in my reading of your words and you mean they want all the power to themselves but if that's so then back to question one why deal with the menial things? they are after all pointless to the bigger agenda.

Yes, there main goal is to have 1 world government theyve managed to divide it into 4 so far and they will need something to trigger the big 1. I'm fairly sure that having a lot of kids is possible. People don't have to be spoon-fed anything, they just kind of figure it out as soon as they start getting hair in funny places.

The fluoride thing sounds daft, even beyond the immediately obvious. It's only going to be the most developed countries that do it. So they'll be the ones affected, which probably isn't more than 10%, at a guess. You'd slowly, slowly slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly...slowly eliminate the richer people of the world, and be left with more and more of the poorer people of the world. They're the people who the media won't reach anyway, so can't be controlled as easily, and who tend to increase population at a much faster than richer folk. So that would only achieve a small decrease in world population, for a relatively large decrease power. Worst plan evar! :- I think these guys should hire me to check their work as they clearly don't have a suitable QA procedure in place at present.

I meant rich in a relative sense, i.e. the richer people of the world, i.e. us.
Anyway, I think it's easier for everyone to think for themselves than most realise. But at the same time, most people won't want to bother thinking for themselves so are easily influenced. Whether they find it scary to do so or are just lazy, I don't know. There's an element of influence on us all, obviously. You only have to look at the fashion world to realise that. Ah, how I loathe everything about fashion. But influence comes from all over the place.
I think it's better that we conspire amongst ourselves to shun all the crap in the world than create conspiracies which perpetuate it.

I'll consider changing the title of the thread for general conspiracy theories, because I think they are actually kind of fun and interesting, especially for someone skeptical like myself. But I'll only do it if you don't make another double post like the above. I learned in church that double-posts is the devil, you see. :P

@geeza People laugh at it because it's inconsistent though. For example it makes no sense that the Illuminati would let people attain the freedoms they now enjoy only to then take them away bit by bit. Also there is very real evidence that what people do matters. There is for one the example of swedens entry into the eurozone. it hasn't happened because the people had a vote and said no, which if as you say they are striving for a single stable world government is definitly a step in the wrong direction. Hence: they do not control everything, and something that big if anything should be under their control.

In fact any kind of democracy is a threat to their power and they should therefore never have let it arise in the first place.

As for the laws you are talking about it really is as easy as taking an interest. Because if you are interested you will learn exactly where and how to learn about these things. especially now that they are also usually accesible on the internet, which by the way is also one of those things that dont exactly help with plans of world domination.

But to the point, if anyone really did get close to the real truth that would be dangerous enough for them to act especially if they are well connected enough and ruthless enough to slowly kill off 80% of the population.

Geeza I'm not saying that there aren't hidden and maliscious agendas behind alot of things I'm just saying that the big conspiracy theories dont hold up to intense scrutiny.

As for global warming cars aren't the biggest problem in fact the meat industries are 10 times as bad when it comes to co2 polution... as for the effects... Yeah I think that the most important thing, whatever we believe, is not to just be idle, "because we cant save the world". Actually, geting a little bit off topic here(sorry): We're not saving the world we would be saving ourselves, the world will survive but our place on it might disapear. the narrative of "saving the world" in the manner we use for stories like final fantasy is a disservice to the "cause" as well as ourselves. (back on topic) That narrative also makes it sound like a conspiracy where there might not be one.

That point about the sun from what I've read on that subject, that is certainly a possibility, there are other things as well such as the fact that the earth will most likely switch it's polarity(magnetically speaking) within the next 1000 years (it could actually happen any day now apparantly) such things and phenomena might also contribute to the potential problem. It's always important to remember that any chain of events rarely has one single cause, there are usually many.

It's credulous you say you've "accepted" Alex Jones' information dogmatically; you are giving creedence to the notion that you have accepted his information through either paranoia or guilt.

If Alex Jones only speaks the truth and facts, then how is he any different than Keith Olberman, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, etc? I wont include actual journalists one can reference in because there are many applicable ones (Many of them from The Washington Times, The Nation, etc.).

And about flouride being in our tap water: I'm fairly certain the public is informed of the reason it is in the water and has been given notice as to not drink water straight from the tap. Hence, there are water filters we can purchase if we really need the tap water. Otherwise, we should drink water from our refrigerator units that already have filters on them.

I would ask about the water bottles you mentioned: there are manufacturing checmicals, known as BPA, that can leech into your bottled water while you drink it. It can leech into your bloodstream or into your liver and cause a lot of havoc. Yet, you're worried about flouride that you use to brush your teeth with?

However, I don't think this is a conspiracy: this is just unethical pricks cheating in a capitalist society. Not to mention, filters come in your refrigerator as well, and most people who are "poor" at least have those.
