Spie's Sappin' mah PS3!

So, erm, yeah. My PS3 is dying. Again. No discs are being read, and I'd like to know if there's anything I can do to stop it dying. Thanks for all help in advance. :)

Is that the only problem or is there other nasty business going on?

Which model is it?

Is it in warranty?

It's an obese 150GB, there's nothing else wrong with it and it's still insured.

Well if you want to fix it without having to send it off you can try using a lens cleaner disc thingy (although I'm not convinced they work) or 'simply' replace the laser.

I did the latter when my phat 60GB model stopped reading discs.

Fixing it myself is out of the question unfortunately, but thanks. Will just have to take the unjustified flak from my parents because it's apparently "my fault" that wear and tear exists. Parents, eh? :)

EDIT: Managed to get the Orange Box to work, but needed to re - insert it to get it to work. No different to what it's been like for a while.
