I swear that THAT does not even look like a Xios, unless you are telling me that ships in Fusion have two upgrade paths?(or what,100% upgraded?)

4th upgrade of Xios. So yeah, probably 100% upgraded, though you don't need to upgrade it 100% to get the 4th livery.

the upgrades are like this:

0-24%: stage 1 ships (original) (Vector personally)
25-49%: stage 2 ships (modified) (Venom)
50-74%: stage 3 ships (standard hi-performence) (Rapier)
75-100%: stage 4 ships (max performance) (Phantom) (also unlocks lead pilot 85% of the time)

75-100%: stage 4 ships (max performance) (Phantom)

The game data actually says "Prototype"; that also explains the different colors etc. compared to the other liveries. Just as a side note :)

What stage ships are the ships in the blueprints in the downloads section? Stage 3?
And I must say that Youtube Videos on WipEout Fusion are quite lacking..

What team is this? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0QtHopif3Y)

So,which one is the "supposedly" ugliest stage? Stage 4 because they do not even look like stages 1,2 and 3?

Stage 4 = Normal skins divided with a tank
If you ask me x)

Btw, sorry for off topic (?)

Yep, that's right... It's actually Paul Cheungs' ship. The lead craft for the team, had a slightly better stat portfolio than the second pilots lead craft... i know this because I am Paul Cheungs great great great great grandfather. Not much will be known about EG-r pilots in future, their origins will remain a secret... but I tell you here and now, Paul Cheung will be born of my bloodline :D
