Got the netflix disc past friday and followed the instructions on disc. They fail to mention about the access code that needs to be inputted from your computer to your online account. Did that and I was online in a few minutes. I was impressed with streaming speed of movies. No lags or lockups. Nice selection of titles. The only issue I have was none of the movies streamed in Dolby D or DTS. Not even the HD movies. Go figure.:o Anybody else got a chance to sample the Netflix & PS3 marriage?

Hmm...thats odd. Im sure when they release the update for Netflix (next year?), theyll have sorted that out. I, myself, have not gotten Netflix yet, but I plan to by the holidays. :+

I just requested my disc. I should have it tomorrow.

This is huge for the PS3 ... Netflix was the one thing that the Xbox had on the PS3.

Streaming will always have quality issues. Even on the Xbox or the PC, the video quality will change based on the available bandwidth. Still the cable on demand and the PS store movies may have a higher quality for some time.

really ... what else to you see as an advantage that the 360 has on the PS3?

My reply would take this thread too far offtopic and for too long.
