That second AVP video looks sweeeeeeet! Its a shame that it overtook Aliens: Colonial Marines though. That game looked awesome.

I havent played MW2 yet, but I also have BC2 beta and I totally agree. The game is fantastic. And I have to admit, AVP looks pretty slick too.

I played the BC2 Beta and I've been playing the **** outta MW2 on my PC the last few days. I hate to say it but I much rather prefer MW2 even with all the faults I find with it. At least a team of random ppl can pull together fairly often to win a S&D or HQ match. During the beta for BC2 it was more like random running around hoping to get a crate distruction.
That and calling in an AC-130 is AWESOME!!!!!
I <3 105mm, 40mm and 25mm firing in rapid succession

Does MW2 have mortars...there just arent enough mortars in videogames these days :P

it doesn't no, the only game I've seen with mortars is the Point of Existence 2 Mod for BF2, and those mortars rock.
I'm 4 ranks away from my next kill streak, think I might get the tactical nuke and go for it :) . My longest streak is 31 kills so I've earned enough kills to get it already but didn't have it in my 3 streak.

MGS4 has them. Although they don't serve as much purpose if you have enough heavy ordinance to destroy any armour near it. :)

mdhay-- took the words right out of my mouth. The MGS4 mortar was a blast (no pun intended). BC2 mod? Im assuming you mean PC version? Lastly, will AVP have multiplayer? Id check myself, but PS3 browser is limited in functionality...and Im just too lazy to look, atm :)

it damn well better :D AVP2 had some of my Favourite game modes ever!! the best was survival where everyone is human apart from one random guy who’s a alien, when he makes a kill that guy re-spawns as a alien as well, the winner is whoever lasted the longest (or lasted the entire 20min). or the option on standard DM that aliens start out as face huggers and you have to kill someone to evolve into the alien you picked.

It does. The latest PSM3 has the details, so guys in the UK, go get it. :) That mode is in there Mr Phlanj, but it's one whole team that starts as Xenomorphs. There is one mode where one player is the predator and the rest are marines, but that isn't really promising. There's also a mode that pits the every player against an endless number of xenomorphs, which sounds wick. :g
