Ive created a Gran Turismo Social group, to keep tabs on things like records, and to organize races, and to talk about Gran Turismo stuff.

Feel free to join :)

Cool idea. I may join when I get GTPSP. I think I may splurge and get a Go next week (depending on a few things).:+

joined too. Great game, but sadly multiplayer mode is an fps killah (60fps alone, compared to 30/35 multiplayer, GAH! but still barely playable).

Anyone can explain me how to use Ad Hoc Party to play GT (and other games too) online? I understood how to connect psp to ps3 using this software but I cant understand how to join Ad Hoc game I want. It would be awesome if someone knows Japanese and can translate key words in this application. Thanks

Best to ask Arch on that one Night. Cranky Croac knows best :)

He is playing with xlink kai... he knows about adhoc party nothing :( I asked him
I see how Japanese boys are happy on this movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep0vcFE7Ezg) and cant understand the reason Sony doesnt want to translate Ad Hoc Party application in English :)

yeah we definitely need ad hoc party. Can't understand why it's still japan only. I've played ad hoc mode at work with my 2 psps (1 fat & 1 slim), it's great but as I said, framerate is suffering a LOT. I'm wondering how the game is working (multiplayer mode) with a custom firmware locked to 333. If there's this framerate drop too (probably due to a 266mhz switch with our offishal crappy firmware...)

Well they better include it in the next PS3 and PSP update,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep0vcFE7Ezg I couldnt understand a ****ing thing in that Asian video, just some stupid music and a couple on knobs smiling at nothing. Must be because they've stolen all the whales out of Australian waters and eaten them or something .

Arch is the best man here to understand how all this Kai and Adhoc bullshit works.

Need to go an talk to someone customer complaint section at SCEE or something.

So - 266 is more lag and 333 is less lag? hmmm... interesting.

Arch did some tests with Smad to determine if clockspeeds affect fps online on Pulse, maybe Arch can shed light on this matter... :)

ACE, we did do a test, and we gave you some facts at the time we were testing it. I don't want to tell anything here, as it is an offtopic in an offtopic section (Gran Turismo is the topic here). I just hope that the version that Kanar told is true, about using cfw 333 and being able to lock the frames to the maximum. That would be, a PSP. :)
At the end, cfw is always a better option. You WILL get the maximum out of your PSP. With ofw...I dunno. Cheers. :)

I also request a lock for this thread. It did it's purpose. Now it's just derailed. Just my honest opinion.

Great :D

Good to see there are so many Gran Turismo enthusiasts on here on wipeoutzone.

True about no social life when GT5 comes out, ill stay home on Saturday night rather than go out to Northbridge and get stabbed by an idiot.

Ok ive set a bookmark time in the ring taxi (BMW M5)

7:28 around the ring,

Save the replay if you can match or go around the ring faster in the taxi, shouldn't be that difficult, when i went on my run the tail came out on several occasions. Im going to give the video to Archman so he can process it under the record system that is being created.

Good driving:P
