Games -

My first favourite game ever was Alex kidd in Miracle World on the master system. This was before memory cards or anything like that so an average go would last between 45 - 75 minutes. The frustration when you died was incredible and its the only time ever I've smashed up controllers. After that game nothing can be more frustrating. My mrs used to love it as well and we even bought a master system a few years ago just to play the game. I'm ashamed to say I had to use a walkthrough to finish the game but to be fair it would be impossible to do so without one. A very hard game.

I used to love SF2 on the Nintendo back in the day. Can remember many happy all night sessions playing mates at this. I was so disappointed by the SF4 game, a ridiculously hard final boss and too many button combos for someone my age and under a green influence :?

Since then my fave games have been the ISS / PES series up until the last couple of offerings. Still great games offline but online a joke. Will wait to see what people think this year about the whole online experience before parting with any hard earned.

My first Next (current) gen game that I loved was COD4 on the 360. Partly because it was the first game I saw in glorious HD and partly because it is a great game. The stage where you have to sneak through the undergrowth without being spotted is incredible but I was (am) shockingly bad at FPS so got my behind handed to me regularly online.

Other interests (feels a bit like doing a CV this !!)

Most of my time is spent with my partner and our 4 year old girl. She is very demanding (well, they both are) but also very rewarding. Also, have a dog (pug border terrier cross) so go on lots of walks to parks, out to the country, etc.
I do love my footie despite my team being not being the best and enjoy taking part in different fantasy leagues with family, friends and old work colleagues.
Also enjoy playing snooker (unlike Yeldar I will also play pool !!) but never seem to get enough time to play. Few years back Iwas playing a few times a week and was regularly getting 30/40 breaks (not amazing I know but I was happy !!) but these days lucky to get double figures.
Also do a bit of volunteering with citizens advice helping people in financial difficulties (where they can go for help and that).

And that keeps me busy for a lot of the time !!
