I just got the head's up on this.
Seems like is similar to a Wii controller but a lot more sensitive.
Might be the answer to the NeGcon replacement.

I hope that camera is either a PS-eye replacement and or a lens cover for the current PS-eye
+ it'd be nice if a pair of the controllers could double as a DS3 so people won't need to buy a crap load of controllers
I really like the idea of this system, it makes so much more sense than having the cameras built into the controllers like on the wii, no doubt this'll work better than Nintendo's motion+ and more than likely what ever MS is probably cooking up for E3
That looks awkward to use.
lol I don't think they'd dare release somthing so uncomfortable
'Might be the ansewer to...'

all it looks like is a patent to me,
I haven't seen many final products that closely resemble their patent application, the PS3's Guncon being one of em, with the amount of junk they are trying to cram onto this thing I see so many great possibilities for gameing and outside of gameing, I hope Jhonney Lee (http://gizmodo.com/5070985/ps3-wiimote-patent-merges-two-controllers-to-make-one-giant-bulbous-freak) and likeminds take it and run with it
