My newer psp I got last year does not work with internet/ad hoc connections no matter what I do. It sometimes connected for a second with my other psp, but not long enough to work. what does the wifi part of the insides look like, and can it be replaced? I have two mangled psps that I could take that part off if it is possible.

does anyone have any ideas into this.

It can be replaced, yes. On old PSP-1000, the card is easily detachable and replaceable (It's a sound card + wifi card combination). I know that because I looked into fixing my 1000 before getting a 2000 (That part got broken and I got no more sound).

Here (http://www.yallstore.com/wifi-wireless-memory-stick-sound-board-repair-for-psp-1000-fat-p-187.html)'s what it looks like.

For the 2000 I don't know, so if it's a 2000 you need repaired I don't know if the MB is in parts like in the 1000 or just one big piece. The 3000 is one big piece afaik.

Not experienced in this kind of things ;)

seriosly man, I think you have the answer for all :) I wanted to put this into my psp 2000, probably unlikely. I'll look it up

Well, I do have the answer for life, the universe and everything, but only because it was given to me by a super computer. Other stuff I don't know as much.

if its a new psp, why dont you return as faulty and have it replaced?
