As some of you may know (see http://wipeoutzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5403&page=24 ) i have a great many videos to upload.

I tried to upload a video to wegame because apparently it doesn't destroy the quality as much as youtube
sadly both times i've been given the message "Processing troubles, the staff has been alerted"
does anyone know how i can get round this because after waiting 30mins for a vid to upload only to find that it doesn't work i'm getting a little frustrated.

anyone else had trouble using it? should i just resort to the tube?

You´re sure your files are the right video-format and don´t exceed 1gb?

162mb .avi file. that should be fine shouldn't it??

AVI should be fine - don´t know why it won´t work. At least "The Staff" is busy working.
The ones I´ve uploaded were FLV´s. If you have the possibility, you might want to convert your AVI´s to FLV´s.
Time-consuming, I know :frown:.

if only i could use the processing power of my PS3 to do that instead of the puny power of my laptop. i'll try converting one video at first just to see if it makes a difference.
this might take a while... :(

Well, at least it worked uploading the file. Might be something "wrong" with your AVI-file, then.

i love the site, with the correct video formatting it loads them in a second and at tip top quiality.

personally i think everyone should use it, far better than youtube.

My problem with WeGame is it doesn't buffer as fast as Youtube High Quality. :/

I contacted WeGame about adding WipEout to their games list 3 weeks ago, but so far no response.


Problem with .avi files is it's just a container and doesn't say much about the codec used. You're probably using some strange codec they don't have over at their site.

the only thing i'd give youtube over wegame is the fact that you can do multiple vids at once.
i haven't seen that on wegame but i may have missed it.
can i do it using lots of tabs?

Heh, after I got no reply to a mail I sent yonks ago I sent in another one on the 21st, received an email yesterday (24th), 2 hours before I spammed the new category's existance... So assuming he added it right after/before he sent that mail, some of you were pretty quick to notice it

Yeah I saw it. Sadly I still can't use that site like I do with Youtube, the buffering speed is still bad, even with my newly upgraded connection. :(
