Hi, I created a website allowing players to check the records, with different
views including: overview of all personal records, or global rankings.

Some people here already knew about it.

That's about it, if you have any questions, or ideas on how to improve it, or if
you can help with the translation
(mistakes in italian / german, or add a new language).

Oh yeah someone could host the website, or find a good and cheap host!

Problem with SL database is that it doesn't update anymore. :S Most if not all of my records posted on his website are faster times than on WOHD records online.
For example, I really would like to see my 1.59.11 GOTEKI 45 Single Race record (ELITE AI) in 2nd place on the records table, but it's my FEISAR one at 1.59.32 showing up. :/
I wish there was a way to force the update on the server (Of course put a timer, say you can't refresh instantly, only every 10 or 15 minutes, so no mass connections attack can be performed through that), then we wouldn't need sites like this.

I have a problem though. It seems I keep being logged out as soon as I'm logged in. I've only been successfully logged in twice (once last night). Most of the time I don't have the options for adding times but in the top right it gives the option to log out. When I was logged in properly this afternoon it logged me out after a couple of clicks. Anyone else having these problems? I'll keep trying...

Edit: Still having some trouble but it's working a bit more consistently now.

1. How do pilots obtain average points?
2. How do pilots obtain overall points?
3. Does 'count' mean: Total records for existing tracks?

2. Each mode/track/class combination gives scores to all players in that
combination:

Everyone gets this score:
1000*exp((best-time)*9/time)

So the leader gets 1000 points, and the other players get less, depending on
your time compared to the leader time, I tweaked the parameters (namely the 9
one) to have a bad score (about 500) when you're doing 20 sec instead of 19 for
the leader.

The overall score for a player is the sum of each score of that player, if track
= ALL, then will be a sum of 16 scores (maximum).

3. The number of items is PER PLAYER the number of records it gets with the
current filters, if you choose mode = SL, track = vineta and class = ALL, then
you'll get maximum 4 items (because there are 4 classes).
If you use mode = SL, track = ALL and class = Phantom, you'll get maximum 16
items.

1. Average is the overall score divided by the number of items.

So for 1 and 2 ... to obtain those points, you need to post times!!

Might have something to do with the cookies, like if you're on Vista with some
security feature that might disable them for this particular site.

Yeah I added tons myself, like all the top 20 phantom SL and TT.
All top 10 SL venom/flash/rapier, and some more.
I'd like to have a full top 20 for every section.

Elite = Speed Lap + Time Trial combined, it's a good estimator on
how FAST you really are, with luck being left out of the equation.

Because online races I mean, you could imagine an incredibly lucky race
with 20 turbos (it's possible right?) and score an incredibly fast time as well.
Or the contrary, something playing the race perfectly, but no turbo item.
But of course, normally to score a super fast time you also need to play
really well, I was just giving an example.

Thanks Connavar, now I understand how the point system is working. Very nice work you did with it. Especially, the Elite function. I like it so much. The only playtime I got for Wipeout HD is a little bit of TT/SL and maybe in weekends some online carnage.

I just went and compared my personal times to my global ones, just in one discipline in 4 different speeds on the online records,out of 64 times 42 had not be updated.
I just didn't realize the scope of the NON UPDATING of records on the online tables until I did this.:eek

Rather good update: 2 new filters are available:

International : global country rankings (thanks pirhapac, kanar/kaori,
ProblemSolver for suggesting this feature)
Contributors : content contributors, it's mostly myself at the moment, but
thanks Asayyeah! ;)


Also fixed some details, for instance Zone / All rankings ordered records by
points (normal) but then by increasing score, now it does by decreasing score,
so it means the ProblemSolver's Anulpha Pass record now appearas on top as it
should. It still orders by increasing time for other modes.

International rankings

When you choose International, you will see the rankings (using normal filters)
per country/region, so far there are 2 "alliances" or regions:
- BE+LU+NL (because otherwise I'm about the only .be player!)
- UK/England/Scotland/Wales (only missing Northern Ireland)

It's important to know that there are MANY international rankings, not just one,
you could choose to view the international rankings of All / All / All, or Speed
Lap / Vineta-K / Venom ... there are many combinations! :+

It looks like this (Time Trial / All / Phantom):

Now if you click on a flag, you'll see rankings of that country alone, with the

And if instead you clicked on a player name, you would see all his scores, again

Right now it shows a lot of players belonging to the country, the first player
on the list being the one with the most points

please inform me, thanks!

How does this ranking work?

The country gets the sum of the points of each player (points have been
explained earlier, basically the top performer in an event receives 1000 points,
other players receive less depending on their relative performance with the
record holder), so a problem is that a lot of new players could pollute that
ranking, so I'll change the system soon to make it fair, but I don't know yet
how, one idea (kaori or kanar I think) was to keep the 4 or 5 top scorers per
country... I'm also thinking of some exponential formula... What do you think?

Great stuff, Connavar. I think that ranking countries by the top 4 or 5 would be the best way, as it allows more racers to contribute to the national ranking. Or maybe top 3 would be better, as some countries may not have strength in depth.

I really like the function to rank your own times by points, to see where you are weakest, as you said earlier. This helps me decide which tracks I should play and practice next. According to your rankings, all of them need work though....... :eek

terrible score on some of the tracks, was a lot of fun redoing them!

Bloody ages,272 times to get right,but while going through them while online a had a whack at a few TT's and knocked a few seconds off a few of them.

Missing a time completely for one multiplayer ,sebenco reverse venom,and all the ones where I'm using other than Icarus or AG I could better,actually there are a LOT I could better,just got to pull my finger out and do them.

Keeping track of them,especially the multiplayer ones is going to be a PITA.

After I made my latest update to my own scores last night I went to the ALL / RECENTLY ADDED page and was surprised at finding that I had to go back 7 pages to find the record I had added literally only moments before! I think you're using some kind of program, no? ;)

Either that or you have some superhuman inputting skills...

Now with more data, global rankings make more sense than ever!

I don't know about you, but I've quickly become "addicted" to that website,
each time I improve a time, I post it and I'm curious to see how it modifies
my overall rank and so on... :)
Of course if you're already #1 it's not that motivating...

Also we've been working together on many ideas to improve the website, and I think
the next upgrades are going to be very nice!

Yeldar: anti-cheating measures have now been added, so you won't see any
glitched time anymore!

I put in ALL my times for absolutely EVERYTHING [272 different times] and it made me overall Number 1 ranked, and Number 1 on about 40-50 different other things using the various filters.:eek

There are 5532 different players on those rankings, 5387 of those being without a flag!
The ones visible in the international rankings are the important players, able to shift
the balance of power for their countries ... that is once we know their country!

I tried to get 1st place on TT SCR Phantom again. No luck =(. I nearly --CENSORED-- myself when I was coming to the finish line but ended up short. I tried putting scotch tape on my thumb and then the dpad to allow my barrel rolls to be "slidey" (don't try it; it didn't help and you'll lose all credibility with your gf). I'm thinking I'm going to take a break from SCR for a while (til' tuesday night). I'm hoping not playing it will pop the perfect line in my head.

I've been aiming to beat at least 10 of my best times every day,so far I've been successful.
Connavar must be doing the same thing,I was 3ooo points behind on Monday, then was in front again on Tuesday and now 2nd by 70pts on Wednesday.

The one place I could make up huge time differences is in the slower classes of Multiplayer,but I can never seem to be able to find a game at Venom and Flash speeds on the tracks I need to do them on, without it turning out to be a huge melee of rockets and plazma bolts.
The people I've come across who race at these speeds just want to blow up anything that moves,there doesn't seem to be much racing as such,or strategy used,more like whoever survives wins.

I was doing TT's the other day,knocked off up to 6 sec on some,most around 2- 3 sec.
But I look at some of the TT and SL times and realize that I must be missing BR opportunities on some tracks,that's the only reason I can see why I'm several seconds behind on some times.
BR's are not my strong point,especially on some of the more obscure places that some people seem to be able to pull them off.

Huge update, I've been coding new features for a week now, so here's what's new:

1) You can add/edit FLAGS for everyone who isn't
registered on the website!
How to do that? Just click on someone's name (I advise to go to INTERNATIONAL
rankings first), then at the bottom of the screen you can set the flag.
It's important to find the countries of the top players without a flag, that way
we can have a better overall international ranking!

2) Comments have appeared!! They are specific for each Mode/Track/Class/
Filter combination, I did this to have constructive comments and not just a
global shout box.

+ just added support for [ b ][ /b ] [ i ][ /i ] [ u ][ /u ] [ url='link' ][ /url ]
+ basic smileys

3) Redesign to make things easier to read for new users.

4) Small but useful details:
- if you click on [Mode] it'll reset the Mode to "ALL", same for Track, Class,
Filter, and Player (will delete it), without reloading the page.
If you use the website a lot, you'll appreciate this feature ;)

- < and > buttons will reload the page correctly this time, was most annoying.

- when you add new times, the form appears on top of the rankings (thanks
chboing for the idea), which is nicer.

- fixed internet explorer compatibilities, it now looks almost as good as when
using firefox.

- you can now order all the results the way you want, by clicking on the column
header.

5) Coming soon:
- International rankings update, with score of the 5 top players per country.

- Merging of different player names (wotan idea).

Update in the contributors section:
- 1 point is given for each record you add
- 100 points are given for each user you identify with a flag

- you can also see WHO added your times (or anyone's):
1) go to the contributors section
2) enter a player name
(or do 2 then 1)

Then you'll see who added the records for the given player.

For instance, yeldar2097 got 85 records:
- I added 8 of those
- chboing added 57
- yeldar2097 added 27
- Asayyeah added 3

Kinda useless feature but I didn't even need to code it, I just discovered it!
It just resulted from the filtering system.

Edit: LOL you can even see who added a given time for a particular event,
just add some filters, like Speed Lap / Vineta-K / Phantom,
and you'll see that chboing added that yeldar's time :)

Also fixed various bugs, and improved the comments:
Now you can "private message" someone:
- first choose a player (in the text field), and then post the comment
- if you want to see all the messages addressed to you, just enter your name
(in the text field)

The Comments section is used to see all the comments filtered by the filters
you choose, so you can decide to view all the comments in phantom category,
or all the comments in Speed Lap / Anulpha Pass / ALL classes, etc etc!

Now I'm working on getting the International ranking to work...
a bit harder than expected, to have a fair ranking system.

I just realized that the WOHD online records for Multiplayer are way out.

I was writing down my times when playing in a online tournament last night and I was beating nearly every track by at least 2 sec,some as much as 13 sec!.

I could understand maybe bettering times on a few tracks of a tournament by 1-2 sec,but all tracks,and by huge margins.

God knows how long it has been since Multiplayer has been updated,but looking at my results from last night, I think it's safe to say all my times for Multiplayer have been bettered,but I have no way of know what the times actually are.

The only way to access your online times is when your online,there is no personal record kept of them.

So keep a sheet of paper and a pen handy when your racing online guys,and write your times down as you get them,then enter them in Connavars site.

You might surprise yourself with the results.:lol

WOW international ranking is finally done!!
The query is incredibly long (so it takes also some time to process), but it works.

It's named "international 2" in the filters, because I also kept the original one.

For instance,

Multiplayer / Phantom:

UK is #1 (855 avg)
Wellington86, osama-bin-haydn, Greenix, kgb1971, Amorbis

France #2 (819 avg)
Wotan998, kingheim, Asayyeah, Daguet_Rapide, pirhapac

^ It basically tells you the optimal teams for each country hehe.

Elite / Phantom:

France is #1 (877 avg)
pirhapac, kingheim, Wotan998, Asayyeah, AkFurtif

UK #2 (694 avg).

I think the 2 systems have a different philosophy, Rob's is more about friends,
wipeoutzone members, and relies on them not lying about scores and so on,
so it can be done for older wipeouts as well, which is great.

Mine wouldn't work with another wipeout (except Pulse, and if you want I'll do it,
especially because I bought the game recently...), because it needs data which
can be checked and approved, and since there is an official leaderboard for HD,
this can be done.

Multiplayer is where I really need to pull my finger out and play more,it's mainly because of the time differences that I've neglected this,by the time a lot of players come online I'm Wiped out and ready to crash.

The online boards don't have anybody on them a lot of the time when it's good for me.

I have been a bit unorganized writing down my times as I beat them,heaps of pieces of paper with stuff scribbled down,usually forgetting to write down what speed class or track the times were from,meaning I have to go back into the records to get the info.

So I though there has to be a better way.

I went into Word and made up a patch of record times papers that I can just print off.

All the tracks listed down the left side,with 4 columns listing time/lap/speed pads/craft.

So much easier,just write at the top of the page what sort of racing it is [Multi/TT/SL/single],and the date you do it on.

Also good for keeping a reference of your Multiplayer records at hand,just look at it after every online race to see if you have beaten it.

I´m always, and I think a lot of wipers do, keeping a piece of paper with my pb´s next to me (at least the multiplayer records ...), when racing. If beating a personal best, I more than often wake up my children, shouting Hallelujah, but at the same time I double-check with the SL-rankings build in to WO HD, before posting the results to Connovar´s more than brilliant site.
I think the results/pb´s on Connavar´s site really depends on wipers writing down records that can be certificied through SL's rankings.

I've just be playing around with the list [I'm running blind using office,trial and error :lol] but I've just made it even easier.

Tracks are listed down the left as before,but now I have in next two columns pre entered info that I just have to circle.

I'm so confused. All the records on Wipeout HD are stored within the game saves right? So why not just make a note of the track? You can check them all with the in game records later and upload them to the the records site of awesomeness later right? Surely it's only online multiplayer that you need to make a note of the track. All the offline modes you can upload as and when, no? I must be missing something.

If you got a laptop running while playing, you can also update the times in
real-time, best way to do is to go to multiplayer-all-phantom-[your name],
and then you'll see your 16 records and you'll only need a few clicks to edit
one of them.

when you enter a time you get a score. Overall is the total amount of score you have.
Average is the average score.

Akfurtif's got only 62 records in the database while connavar has 64.
so he is behind cause the total score is lower. He should pass connavar soon, when he'll enter the last two times he lacks.

No pictures or anything.

Overall + International rankings have been improved,
albeit a bit slower:

Now the default ordering is on the "index" which is a value computed
from the total number of points and total number of records.

Results shown appear more representative than before.

Basically it's like a mix between the AVERAGE and the TOTAL.

Average only is bad because someone who only did 1 good record and nothing
else, will be near the top, total only is bad for the same reasons (lots of bad
records), so here we have something in between, more fair!

For instance, on ALL/ALL/Phantom/Overall,
Asayyeah was #1 with 864 avg, 68264 points, 79 records
pirhapac was #2 with 828 avg, 63732 points, 77 records
Wellington86 was #3 with 966 avg, 61852 points, 64 records

Now Asayyeah is #2 with an index of 859 (close to his average because he
uploaded 79 out of 80 records), and Wellington86 is #1 with an index of 863,
and pirhapac is #3.

However I did another really good (I think) update:

1) Teams have been updated!
Now with a lot more information about the racers, so you can tell who's an EGX
specialist, guess?
Thanks Haydn for the original idea.

On top of that the ship is now clickable/filterable, so you can look at your
best records done with a FEISAR for instance!

2) Now if you highlight a row and click on it
(without clicking on a link), then you'll jump to a useful section, for instance
if you go to the main page showing all recently updated times and click on a row
which contains SL/Metropia/Phantom/Recently you'll actually jump to the rankings
of SL/Metropia/Phantom, which is most useful!
Damn I've wanted that feature for a long time hehe

3) Toggles:
Click on a flag/ship/player to show rankings with the specified flag/ship/
player, click again to show without

4) It's now easier to tags players with a flag (can click on a flag picture)

5) Printing coming next, already got the icon + a surprise (thanks chboing)

What you can do = click on the black buttons on the left having "game mode",
"track" ... this will reset the game mode, track, ... to ALL.

What I'm going to do is: when you click on the title, it'll go back to the main
menu, with recently added.

I could also make it that if you double click on [x] or click on it when there
is no player name, that it resets everything.

By the way, stealth update: you can enter several player names, like:

And then you'll be able to compare your times.

Just click on an empty part of the row. So not on any actual bit of data. Each one of those links to something else. It's the space around each column of data that will take you to the record table for that exact record. Hope that made some sense.

Just to be clear, I have no problem with second accounts (I've got four other accounts myself). But just for the sake of a definitive table of standings, one person should have one set of results. Im sure they will understand. ;)

Connavar - Some of my times don't seem to be updating on the official records. Is it possible to be excluded from the mass updates? At least for now? I upload my own records as I get them so my scores are up to date. The first one I noticed was Sol 2 reverse. I have a much faster time than the one in the online rankings. I can upload the ghost if anyone needs proof. This hasn't happened to me before. I think I got the time on Saturday so it should have updated by now. I have to go check them all now just to be sure. I wish things would just work :(

I just ran a script which synchronizes clones times, so if you had a clone who
scored better than your main account somewhere, then the main account
received the time :)

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it would be great if there was a form page that has listed all of the rows automatically filled out for each record so one can just go down the list entering times and not all the other info. Message me if you're interested in hosting and/or scripting.

Yeah, just an idea to perhaps make it quicker for new members to add all their scores. Once they're in, it's a piece of cake to modify. I have another question now as I'm going through and putting in scores. I've seen mention of this but I don't understand what's going on completely. Are some scores not being posted to the SL leaderboards, or does it take a while, or what? If they don't then I have to resort to looking at the personal times list and it seems as if it does not distinguish between Single Race and Multiplayer times in that list, is that right? So, because I didn't know the answers to these questions I've just been going through and playing the tracks again.

I have another idea for your already awesome website. I think it would be cool if you had a column that showed the Overall Ranking for each record. So for example, if I'm looking at all of my records I know where I'm ranking for each one without having to the leaderboard for each record. Perhaps there is already a way that I haven't discovered.
Anyway, I love the website, and would love to contribute. Message me on psn if you need help with inputting times, coding, hosting, etc.

For those of you, who didn´t already discover it (I just did a few minutes ago :eek):
In the newly updated Internet Explorer, you´ve got the option to convert webpages to PDF-documents (it even has a select tool).
Very easy to print tables from Connavar´s site now :P

I've been keeping my times offline in a spreadsheet, and have a separate table where I can see very clearly where I need to improve by showing me my global rank in each track/class/mode. This may be something you'd like to integrate on your website. I've attached an image; hopefully with the low quality, you're able to see what's going on.

A couple of people on the site have mentioned excluding Zone mode from Phantom. I'd like to exclude it because I can't really play it without getting headaches. I loved achieving Zone Zeus but it's really not something I want to have to do again. It was painful.

I feel that if I choose Phantom class it should just be Phantom class. I want to compare pilots at Phantom speed and not the overall game. Just as choosing Rapier lets me compare all events only at Rapier speed. If I choose overall ranking on all classes, then I think that is where Zone should be included.

At the same time it's good to keep it because it encourages more people to play Zone and that will make it a more competitive mode. But if it's included in the overall ranking for all speed classes then I think that would make more sense. Especially as Zone runs through all speed classes.

Can we not have an option for Phantom class without Zone? Pretty please? With psychedelic hagelslag on top?

Okay, I'll try to find a solution... maybe another button somewhere.

The all/all/all/global ranking is pretty meaningless, I mean most people want
to check the rankings for 1 speed class, so I don't want to have the Zone mode
only in it. Having it in Phantom was nice for the motivation as you said.

I just ran a script which synchronizes clones times, so if you had a clone who
scored better than your main account somewhere, then the main account
received the time :)

Yeah KIGO I merged them, but right now I need to click on a button to merge
all the times of all the clones, as soon as I see chboing we will update the site
to have it update the parent player as soon as a new clone time is entered,
so this will be 0 delay, and no more button pushing here :)

Well I was about to update my times spreadsheet when I figured it would probably take me as long to do that as it would make a quick webpage. So I did. It uses the all the times from Connavar's site (current as of today). You can just change the psn id to your own to see your ranking map.

Also I've made a table of the top 5 in each category. I get a kick out of this stuff, maybe somebody else will too. I think these features would be cool directly on Connavar's site, as I probably won't update the DB more than once a week.

Hm I just looked at it again, there are issues with your OVERALL RANKINGS, you
should use my own results (go to */*/*/OVERALL) because your site shows
precisely why using positions is a bad idea, for an overall ranking at least:

1) It shows Darxinus being #2 on venom speed lap and #1 on venom single races,
however Darxinus only did 8 tracks, no reverse, so basically someone who
does only 1 race but being #1 on it, will be #1 overall, which is unfair.

2) Another example: let's say I'm #1 on 15 tracks but #500 on another, then
the average will be 515/16 = 32, so someone who's #30 on every track will beat
me, which is again wrong, especially if I'm 1 second faster than him on every
track, and 0.1 sec slower on that track where I'm #500, you see?

^ All these non elementary issues have been solved by the system used on my
website, which gives points based on the relative time with the #1 time,
instead of the positions, and this is where most of the work has been spent,
so please, you can use my work, Leungbok's icons (I guess), layout etc,
but don't destroy our hard work by turning these rankings into something
meaningless.

(That was just a detail btw, I'm still very happy hehe,

Connavar, thanks for that heads up. It should be fixed now. I've calculated it using the weighted average instead of a straight average. I double checked it against your site now and everything looks to be in order.

Well, I've got it down to literally a few seconds to update the records so I guess I can do it on a daily basis.

Also, I added a few more tables as well. Maybe more to come.

Update: I just added what I think is a really cool feature. Versus mode. So on the ranking map, enter another player to see how the 2 match up.

Thanks for fixing the stuff, still a few issues, it gives me 849 points in SL
phantom, however I only got 830 points... Venom/Flash/Rapier are correct.

Having more stats is always welcome.
Also I preferred the original table on top, with just the numbers and colors,
without the pictures, looked cleaner.

Now all we need is to make both sites interoperable, also need to fix the design
a little bit, but it's looking good, I think we can now have a small website team,
with I + chboing + you :)

Connavar i've accidently entered my anulpha forward time of 30.36 under anulpha reverse which is actually 31.01 / 13 speed pads / icaras and i'm unsure how to change it. Can this be fixed, sorry for the mistake.

Is the website for Global Rankings 'ready' for Fury? Well, at least all the trivial
things like for example the new tracks can be added beforehand. The new
modes may take a while to fit them into the system, I guess. What's your take,
Connavar? Would be nice if we could add some records the day Fury will be
released. I think that some serious action will take place once it is released. xD

I don't quite understand the Ranking Map. Looking at Connavars site and the player profile I get listed at rank 358 (yeah, yeah, not much, but I'm slowly improving). However, if I look at the ranking map I'm listed at 401?

Trophies: I've been going through and entering trophies. Starting with my friends list, then the list from the thread of transcended members, and now onto the rest slowly but surely. The trophy list only shows people that have trophies entered. You can enter your own by going to your profile page.

Ranking Map: That last column shows the average points of that row not the actual rank for that mode/class. But, I have now changed it as perhaps that is the way that most people will expect to be. :)

Hi, I just started to add my times and records. During that I stumbled upon what Darkdrium said in #7 of this thread (http://wipeoutzone.com/forum/showpost.php?p=110852&postcount=7) that the records I see locally (personal) are not aligned with those online (worldwide). How are we/you going to handle that? I incidentally entered a few of these in Phantom SR just before I saw that there is something not consistent. And btw, I also have some ridiculous personal records w/ 0:30 for Sol2R and 0 speed pads or so - of course I won't enter these.

Is there any way to force an update or did SL intentionally prevent some records to be updated online?

rankings in the game, otherwise the game mixes SR and MR together when you

Data actually comes from my site which comes from people entering
them manually, and originally comes from the game of course.
The data you see on d4's site is only derived data, which is the easy part.
Just a few queries are required to get the same on my site.

However I really want to keep the essence of the site:
- a very clean, minimalist, professional interface
- intelligent stats allowing you to combine many filters together, you can view
thousands of different stats on my site for instance, like: who got the best
Feisar times on Chenghou and also coming from UK, that's possible.
(you can even compare players together, and not just 2)
- not too many options either: too much information kills the information

Now we should vote on the most wanted features and I will implement them
in the order.

Yes, what I've done really is the easy part. So much credit goes to chboing really, he's entered almost 200,000 records for us manually (and keeps them updated)!!

I think you´ve done a splendid job, d4onps. Really keeps me motivated for trying out events, I don´t normally do - making the WO HD experience even bigger and more satisfying.
Connavar started out with the brilliant idea of a WO-ranking site (unfortunately SL is not up to the task ... yet) and Mr. Fastfinger (chboing) really deserves a bloody WO Nobel Prize for all the times he has already entered!
In a perfect world the two sites of yours ought to be merged into one.
I am no graphic pro, but I agree with Connavar: Keep it clean and simple.
Maybe one day chboing will get some deserved rest and just do the "glitched-time-cleaning" - the day when results are feeded to the site directly from the servers of SL .....

thx, so I did enter some 'wrong' numbers - I just updated that. And I saw that my SR times suck big time :beer

BUT, just for the sake of testing I flew one SR, Venon VK offline (w/o connected to PSN - I usually never do that - both, venom and offline :?. I flew a personal record. I additionally did a Zone race on VK, record, too. Both records were named w/ PLAYER1. Guess what happend when I logged into PSN and accessed my records: WOHD mentioned that it will sync these. Some 60 minutes later my worldwide best laps are updated and my leaderboard swicthed from 'Player1' to 'C4'. t

I thought you two guys go hand-in-hand right from the start and that d4's
page is an experiment on how to improve the main page even further.

So please (Con & d4) get your act together and merge these two pages
into one with a very simplistic and smooth design. I never going to
accept two pages for any rankings. And for me, Connavar's page is the
original one and also the main page for WipEout HD's global rankings. His
page has a real ranking character. But! d4's page is awesome in the way
one can look at the data. So many different ways. Very nice!

Putting all these things together would be a right-minded solution.
Anything else would contradict the Wipeout community.

I wanted to get that thing sorted.

Thanks to everyone working on these sites, they are terrific. Connavar`s is great in that it presents you any information you want, and for a lot of dedicated pilots this is what they want, but D4onps is also very nice in that when you load it you get a ranking straight away. I think that is brilliant and the ultimate motivation to play. The ranking system feels stronger on that site because there are less options. That`s how I feel about it anyway. :)
