clicky (http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/game-types/driving-and-racing/evolution-and-wipeout-team-merge-under-one-roof-$1259070.htm)

interesting, so long as they announce a new wipeout game not a 3rd motorstorm...

Hehehe. I was guessing they had collaborated, I saw some Pendulum, Noisia and DJ Fresh in Pacific Rift :D

Well its a great thing, both games are fun IMHO. If they can do the next Motorstorm in 1080p 60FPS that would be awesome, because Motorstorm doesn't have super great graphics right now. :/ And of course they won't forget WipEout, not with the way the game was received by critics :)

I, for one, welcome our new future partners. :+ :g

Perhaps their next game will feature futuristic hovering ... off-road monster trucks. Wait a sec. That sounds incredibly awesome.

I just read the article earlier. Very interesting stuff good thing:D Great for SL, great for Evolution, great for the future of Sony Computer Entertainment, and most of all great solid news for the fans of the Wipeout franchise, more to come:g Great news thread BTW.

You know what the weird thing is?

I was actually envisioning the next Wipeout as some collaborative effort between SL and Evolution, given that it would definitely be a massive endeavor.

man...am I good or what?

Rollcage would be a good compromise ;)

You'd take a new Rollcage over a new one of these (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wG3Ks9j6Ay8)? For shame Mr. Socks! ;)

I'd take a new Rollcage over a new Motorstorm.

Sorry to be a nit-pick, but the article says that the studies will eventually merge... under one roof...

That doesn't mean that they would be the same development office, right? Or wrong?

YESSS!!! Now THAT is what I'm talking about...

maybe introduce the overheating nitrous turbo system into Rollcage...push your cars harder...push too hard...and kaboom to you...
