everyone is on at different times of the day due to timezones and such. its pretty rare that you catch someone else in there, but it still happens occasionally.

If someone can work out a time maybe once a week, quite a few members may be able to catch each other in the chat room. I might work on it sometime.

I'm on GMT + 10 which is the east coast of Australia time. If I'm on at 11pm at night that means if YOU lived in say Central Time Zone (US & Canada) which = - 6 GMT it would be 16hrs behind me. Which is erm.. um.. oh dumb brain  7am in your Zone! wow!

People in say England would need to be on at 1pm to catch me... GMT = 0

So let me put that simply. I'm on in Australia at 11pm
Bob in central America will need to be on at 7am
And Nigel in England at 1pm
By doing this we could all chat together!

I know this is a little confusing!
hope i've got it right!!!

I think it's GMT - 05:00 (US & Canada Eastern time)

If anyone out there is a little confused about it, I'm using Windows 98 and I just look at the time/date popup screen. On the lower tab you should notice GMT settings, go into this and look at the different time zones to calculate when you should come online!

Ok, Feisar you said 5PM Eastern US time, that sounds like a plan but what day/s are we wanting? Weekends maybe?

Feisars Chat session = 5PM = -05:00 GMT (Eastern US)
Tyson in Australia = +10:00 GMT (East coast)
=8AM next morning (date wise of course!!)
That works for me...
Person in England = 00:00 GMT
=12 midday

Well hope that starts the ball rolling!

It's a java chat interface, so if it's not working that means you hafta install java.

You can probably use an IRC client too, if you've got one.
