I'm not good at all with WipEout (yet xD), but Guitar Hero is the game I have the most skills. In fact, I'm ranked 5th at PS3 =D.
For people who doesn't know what's that, Guitar Hero is a guitar game simulator, with Rock, Pop, Metal...etc Songs of all ages. This game has really succeed at America...and here (Spain) too =P!

Now I'm giving up playing this game, because I was extremely inside it, and my school notes were decreasing, but anyway, if someone has the game too, we can play together ^^.

And don't worry dude, I've needed 2 years to get that level, so it's all about practice ^^.

Yeah it's like Wipeout I suppose. I don't think it works well with electronic music though, which is why I don't play it ;) I play Audiosurf though, for fun, and it looks a bit like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLGdEhW1m18&fmt=18). But it's nothing really serious, only from time to time when I want to play something while listening to my music (I know, WipEout HD Zone mode, but it wasn't out before :D).

My limit at the moment is Raining Blood on Hard, which screws me every time, even though I'm up to Slash on Expert. I don't consider myself too bad at the game, but that **** is bananas!

I just love Guitar Hero, almost more than Wipeout;). I´m more or less playing at hard, but can play some songs at expert, also in Rock Band. But one of my friends is fricking awesome at both the games. Here ars some of the many songs that he has 5 stars at expert at Guitar Hero;

i played GH for the first time a few weeks ago and it was loads of fun, but a lot of reviews for rock band 2 were very good..

and Darkdrium777, thats what the 1210's and mixer with nice effects box are for, no need for a guitar.. although i really want some CD decks just soooo expensive :(

I think that the best option is:

- Buy Guitar Hero World Tour (with all instruments)
- Buy Rock Band 2 (without instruments)
- With RB2, it will be a DLC with all RB1 song set list for free (you buy RB2 and they also give you RB1 =P).

That's what I'll do. I prefer GHWT instruments 'cause their much better than RB ones.

I was just gonna say, DON'T get the Rockband peripherals, they are crap. Other than that, Rockband is fine, but nowhere near as challenging as Guitar Hero. Does have a sweet set list though...

Damn, LordOmega, I can hardly play GH3 on hard! Mind you, I do spend more time on GH 1 & 2, 1 being the easiest to play. (And IMO has better songs to boot.)

mad skillz yo. i've yet to finish F&F on medium, even though i can do about half of the tunes on hard. that solo is just death. really fun game!

Harvai, you say that GH1 is harder? Maybe that's because you don't know what are the Hammer-Ons and the Pull-Offs...In fact, Guitar Hero 1 is the hardest!

And Guitar Hero 2 is harder than GH3 too...although I can make nice things with it. Look ^^:

ive finished GH2, but im stuck on the last gig in expert (curse you raining blood!!!!) in GH3
anyways i only just got a ps3, so im looking to buy rock band, when does 2 come out? im not sure rock band is even out here, so i may have to import or something. Although i would consider the first one cause it has a couple of radiohead songs

Naw, to me GH1 is by far the easiest! I sometimes don't hammer-on or pull-off (I often forget to strum proper notes!). I'm 4 songs away from finishing GH1 on hard, and man do I need some work!

I'm thinking of getting the Guitar Hero World Tour single guitar bundle (a few of my mates will be getting the full bundles) for the 360 and then just buying Rock Band 2 as it is.

Only Pankiller natively, but you can download the whole Screaming For Vengeance album too.

I timed the last sustained note on vocals too, it's over 20 seconds!

Painkiller isn't the hardest song in RB2 in my opinion though. Visions by Abnormality is. It completely ripped me to shreds on Hard mode within 10 seconds. Not surprising considering it's death metal

As Hellfire told you, there are the SfV, but with Guitar Hero 1 you have "You've Got Another Thing Coming" and "Electric Eye" with Guitar Hero Rock the 80's.
