Hi, is it possible to speedrun any Wipeout releases? I would love to see it done.

Huh, Wipeout is not quite the type of game that loans itself to speedruns, which are done on platformers and shooters mainly. Nice one though.

Of course it's possible. Best example would be XL. Just start a new game and unlock Piranha. Shouldn't take too long.
Pure and Pulse: Get all Gold medals and look at the total playing time in your stats. Since Pure and Pulse are quite big you can make advantage of its keeping track of single modes as well and attempt, say a Time Trial speedrun.
Since the one and only parameter of playing any game is (investing/ wasting/ using/ ...) time, you can speedrun ANY game. I aree though that some games are better suited than others.

It would seem kind of pointless because half the idea of the wipeout series in the first place is flying the tracks themselves as fast as possible.
The only thing a speedrun would incorporate beyong race times is menu navigation time and loading time.

Speed runs are generally for games that don't consist of time trials themselves. Wrap your head around what a speed run of a speed lap could possibly mean...
