Multiplayer LAN

I'd like to have more infos on that particular point, pilots.

For our convention this weekend we gonna have 2 ps3 but no routeur, i have a simple Wifimaxx ( usb dongle) : so my question is can we race split screen 2X2 LAN and be in the same race ( 2 players on the 1st TV and 2 players again connected on the 2nd tv) so 4 pilots into the same race?

I know i can't have split screen online ( that could have been the solution for my problem if only routeur enable LAN) but we want to have fun 1st, offline with splitscreen, and then connect online 2 ps3 with 2 individual PS login ( Expitarius and mine).

I hope LAN can be done through the wifimaxx, but more precise infos would be much appreciated here.

Don't think you can do lan split screen mate.

I am sure you can do LAN over wifimax but I find wifi a bit hit and miss so I opted for some homeplugs (LAN over Power Cables) instead, I get much better network speeds, quite noticable when streaming video.
