Hardly, there are so many people out there who are WORLDS better than I am :P I haven't played GW in ages to begin with, and I've only spent like 15 or 20 minutes with the new one because I just bought it last night. ...though I do hope to get better ;) Can't wait for Galaga Legions soon, too.

That's a really cool game! :g I have not played Geometry Wars at all but I really want to. Sadly my friend sucks at it and doesn't want to buy it xD. So I'm stuck with Blast Factor and the demo of Super Stardust HD (Which I should get, that is really good too).

Here's something I have been doing on-off for the past few days, it's called Audiosurf and adapts to the music you're playing. You can also customize the graphics and change the colours of the game :) That was an easy music I've played (It's still on hard mode though), I've done a few more that were faster (And harder) and I recorded two others which I should upload soon.

Yeah I know OF audiosurf but alas my computer is strictly for porn, music, talking to people online, internet, and copying/ripping/burning CDs and DVDs. I wish AudioSurf would be brought the the Xbox Live Arcade... they're already bringing an exclusive version or something of Portal to XBLA, I dunno why AS doesn't make the jump- it's popular enough.

Seems a very similar game to SSHD, with funky blocks instead of asteroids and aliens, and very very satisfying explosions. I`m in the "love it but just panic and blow up far too soon" group with these twin stick shooters. I`m ok with games where you have to basically focus on one thing at a time, but with this sort of game I feel like I would need eight eyes and four brains to play effectively. :blarg Good stuff!

This game came first, and having played a bit of both (SSHD demo and a few minutes of GW on friend's box), no they are not the same kind of shooters (Well not really anyways).
