foo fighters? pennywise? NIN? system???
I like all of these bands, but I could never imagine racing an AG craft to them. A tank, or a muscle car, yes, but NOT an AG craft...

I agree, and was a little unsure myself. I ummed and ahh'd, and put 'em in cos they're fast tracks and I like 'em :P

Remains to be seen how they play of course.

Maybe the guitar will make a return to popularity in 2108.

Previous Wipeouts seem to have assumed it would have gone the way of the lute and harpsichord by the time anti-gravity racing emerges as a spectator sport.

I _liKe_ the lute and the harpsichord. Even now, despite that terrible scandal between ***** and ********. :D

Would it be terribly audacious of me or just plain mentally ill to suggest Love Missile F1-11 by Sigue Sigue Sputnik as an addition to this list?

I dunno, but they were hilarious. :)

I've thought about it and decided Love Missile F1-11...is perfect and will form the cornerstone of my personal Wipeout soundtrack.

I was going to record in my old 12" vinyl version of the song but was pleased to discover that implausibly enough Sigue Sigue Sputnik's entire back catalogue is available on Rhapsody.

Track number two will be the "Who Killed the Kennedy's?" version of "Sympathy For The Devil" by Laibach which I WILL have to record in off vinyl ("do you have a theory about who killed the kennedys?", "this Mick Jagger put it all on the Angels man", "on LSD you begin to die a little" and so on).

EDIT: I just tried to listen to Sigue Sigue Sputnik's recorded output other than Love Missile F-11. Dear God is it bad. It seems that every song is an attempt to sound like Alan Vega/Suicide and every song is an utter, utter failure. Apart from Love Missile F1-11. What a song.
