currently no, but I somehow managed to wind up racing against an eg-x concept ship that was wearing eliminator livery once!? this was offline, in a duel

I'd love to see concept ships as skinnable on w-g, but can the game so it?

Egg said that skinning the concept skins was more than possible, but he couldn't say whether it was on the roadmap or not.

Yeah, they're designed the same way as the others, so it's all possible. We'll have to see what happens if there's an update to the skinning app.

The game can only accomodate five skins due to memory restrictions, so it'd be a bit of a bummer to have to choose. Hopefully we can get the ship skinner updated soon, though - I'll try to move things along as soon as I'm fit enough to come back to work. :)

No, the game has to recognize the alternative skins for Concept Class -- and I'm not a coder, so not sure about that one.

damn, I was hoping that the name of the model to which the skin applies was encoded into the skin file

Sounds hopeful. Would love to skin the concept Auricom (great job on this one, the model looks like the 2097 Qirex) and Eg-X.

I wouldn't mind having/using the eliminator texture for the editor....or at least Ps or paint.(aka just the texture itself)

I do not have them posted publically, but i am working on making instructions for getting them yourself as they would be considered copyrighted content specific to the disc, thus, unless a moderator with SL ties gives me the ok, I can't give them out ...
