Warhawk Wipeout Racing

If there's anyone who, besides me, LilMaggot and Bakkufu, owns Warhawk, you may be intrested to know that racing is possible, and, very much close to wipeout itself. The Plasma bolt exists in the form of the Lightning thingummybob, There is no quake.Bombs are cluster bombs. AirBraking is available. There is also a turbo built in to the plane as well as a cannon.

I was this (-) close to buying the game on the PSN, but I changed my mind and went for COD4 which has an excellent online experience.
I hope I could try Warhawk, bummer there's no demo...

There's also a Burnout - like availability. but with jeeps. Only problem is that no one actually races, and it isn't an official game mode.

Is Warhawk online play only? I will never buy a game where I have to rely solely on other people to allow me to play it.

No, it also supports LAN and split screen f you have an ethernet cable and establish a Local Area Network. Unfortunate, too, since if you don't have internet on your ps3, you just wasted 20(PlayStationStore) or 40(GAME) quid.
