Good luck finding Hi Scores on CD. I don't even think you could find it on vinyl. I had the CD once, and I was able to get digital copies of the songs before... I LOST MY CD WALLET TO A THIEF. Since then I've recovered and got all the CD's except Tomorrow's Harvest, and the Hi Scores EP. If you are having a hard time finding any of the songs on the EP, let me know. I've got them. If you are new to BoC, I suggest giving Geogaddi a full listen. It is probably their best full album. Music has a right to Children is a close second.

As far as Autechre goes, I didn't like Gantz Graf. I'm a huge fan of Tri Repetae+, Incunabula, and Amber. Look for Second Scout for an easier listen by them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXBxaacw100

I have most of BoC's stuff. I started off with Music Has the Right to Children, though, and I moved on from there, getting, in order, Twoism, In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country, Geogaddi, The Campfire Headphase, Trans Canada Highway, and Tomorrow's Harvest. I also found Hi Scores quite easily on iTunes.

I... erm, 'obtained' their discography, if you know what I mean. :P Really good stuff, though the only thing I don't have from them is Medrey (the Tri Repetae Japanese Bonus Track), and the EP7 pregap track 0. Do you have them?

Also, the Garbage and Anvil Vapre EPs were released before Tri Repetae, ++ just added those two EPs on the second disc. No Medrey, however.

As for the music side of things, I got accepted into SAE for a Diploma of Sound Production, but after doing some research TAFE offer the same qualification for such cheaper costs, so I've re-applied there.

I personally am not in this for any money at all. I just want to share what I've done. That's actually only my latest release, I have near 15 full albums worth of never released stuff and only just started to try to get out there more. I really just want one thing (developers out there looking at you): I want a song I wrote to make it to some racing soundtrack.

Believe me when I say this: It is hard being into more European sounding stuff being stuck in the US where glitter pop reigns supreme. I grew up listening to Autechre, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, FSOL, Oribtal (I finally have ALL their releases, including imports, it only took 11 years...). That kind of stuff will emerge again soon, but it is just so under-heard here in the US.

Anyways, always looking for feedback. Good or bad. If anyone wants a free copy let me know. I'll gladly send it!

@ Conzio, I'm glad you feel the vibe. I didn't want an album full of club hits, rather something you put on and listen to just to hear a lyric-less story (although I DO sing, but that will be in my next release, and believe me when I say that is outta my comfort zone). I just can't get this track out of my head, and it is the kind of music that I think would go really well with one of the darker, grittier entries to the WipEout series, or like Rollcage, or something. What I see the most frequently in my mind's eye with this particular track would be one of those Demo videos that plays when you let the main menu for an old game run idle for long enough, where it contains a mix of the most action-packed gameplay footage, some pre-rendered stuff, and in the event that the game in question has a story mode, snippets from that as well.

A story-driven WipEout game would actually be pretty cool, ya know?

It took A LOT of tedious work, but I have collected every WipEout soundtrack, except for the Sega Saturn exclusive WO1 tracks (stupid CDIMAGE.ELF file), CoLD SToRAGE HD (why the frak did he take down his bandcamp?), and the music from the European and Japanese WipEout Pure DLC.

But... heat sinks aren't supposed to make any noise (you might be referring to your fan). Unless you mean a BattleTech/MechWarrior heat sink, in which case they usually make lots of noise.

Still, the sound of a new cooling system for your computer can always be rather unsettling; some are just plain louder than others, some make a clicking noise that they shouldn't be, some might produce an unusual pitch that you're not used to, etc.

Maybe you could put a camera and/or microphone next to your computer's fan, so I could diagnose the problem?
