Guys first of all sorry if this has been discussed already... just wanted to get opinions on D-Pad vs. Nub usage... personally with every WipEout game I have played, I've always stuck to the pad.
I tend to do this with the majority of racing/driving games I play on any of Sony's consoles as well for some reason! In fact, Motorstorm on PS3 is the first one I've really used the analogue input with that I can remember. Oh, and NFS Carbon as well, but the general rule for me is using the pad for precision driving on games like WipEout or Gran Turismo etc.
Since I'm really going to try hone my piloting skills in the lead up to Pulse, would like to see what the consensus is amongst the "pros" as to whether or not there is any inherent advantage or disadvantage to using either the pad or nub.
Cheers guys :)
