No not the ship;) The actual live fish. I was just wondering if anyone in here owns a piranha. They are really cool creatures. The rep they receive is far from fact. They are very very shy! And fast! Also anyone have a place they visit to gain more knowledge about piranhas?

Interesting; I found this when I googled up piranhas. It says: "Piranha have a fast metabolism, which means they digest their food very quickly." Guess the Chinese found a way to make their WipEout craft suck in fuel quicker than the other craft. :)

When i was working in French Guyana ( south america) years ago, i ve seen those 'feed-me-always-hungry' fishes, they are pretty small but so impressive when this shoal is eating a prey.

A friend of mine owns a piranha. It is mounted to a pretty oak board and mounted on his wall.:p Doesn't look so fast when its gaping mouth is wide open. Those teeth have to produce a lot of resistance moving through the water! In fact the thing looks like it's all mouth. No wonder it digests quickly, it has nowhere to store food!

I"m freakin' afraid of Piranhas!!! More than spiders...

[off topic]Their could be two different pit-stops, one for fuel, and one for repair... Then the Piranha would have more of a realistic disadvantage, mabye... ;) [off topic]

I have a fast metabolism. I don't eat very quickly, but I enjoy my food.

Just thought id update you guys. Finally got my Piranhas! Red Belly Piranhas! They are really cool. Very shy, like hide in the back of the tank. But when feeding time comes...They are like mini f***** sharks! Crazy eaters gotta get a vid of when they next eat.
