This one needs no explanation:

I found this bit particularly interesting:
"American Antigravity is currently conducting experiments with electrokinetic propulsion, and is in the process of developing a practical source of electrokinetic propulsion for possible use as a vehicular propulsion source."
The payloads are really small at the moment, but the concept is valid, and the energy investment return is really good.
Can I paint mine yellow and blue?

no doubt - the era has started...

Thats just awesome...
I wonder how long it'll take to make anything big enough to replace the generic car... and yes, they'd find lots of great pilots if they knew where to look

well, rhys
maybe in our lifetime we'll get a chance to fly some of those... i want to make mine a blue and white version of the Pirhana A from either Wo3 or Fusion...
In the meantime, keep praying

Yes, and you know that in the current business climate, Boeing isn't just blue-skying this kind of thing in the press... it's very exciting...
Note the research facility name: "Phantom Works"!
Yeah! Gimme that Pirhana, baby!

Think how far the autombile has come, if you think about it, it hasnt been all that long! And with computer processors increasing speeds at a dramatic rate, it will soon be a reality! If only what they spent on military they spent on futuristic ideas!
And even if they dont develope the technology right away, think about the Virtual Reality sims that will be on the market in 20yrs... Wipeout VR 3089 ! It's a nice thought!

some of the military spending does go to futuristic projects; those are precisely the ones they try to keep secret from us. ;)

...The project is being run by the top-secret Phantom Works in Seattle, the part of the company which handles Boeing's most sensitive programmes. ...

I didn't see that but I did read the article and was like "Hey isn't that a coincidence".

yep. coincidence is great. it seems to happen a lot more in life than you'd think it would and mostly to be beneficial.
man, i hope this anti-grav experimentation really leads to something that can be used in everyday life

Well it would follow the way of the electric/solar/fuel cell car.
The Petrol Syndicate will see that no one can get an affordable A-G craft of any kind.
