Who's going to buy THAT? Most of us here could do a much better job with a plain backpack and some fabric paints. That's just a cheapass rucksack with a couple of logos slapped on it.

When I was in New York I found some really cool XBox backpacks in FAO Schwarz; $50 but well worth it. I bought one because it was such a cool bag; it's got squillions of pockets and holds a huge amount of stuff. Why can't Sony make cool backpacks?
And the XBox websites are much better-presented than the PS2 ones... it seems that Sony are taking Umbro's approach of only specialising in football and no other sport, or rather in Sony's case gaming and not merchandise or web media.

i'm okay with that. the game should be the priority of a game-maker. the other stuff can be enjoyable, but the game is the only thing that really matters

i agree: this rucksack is rather UGLY - but concerning the very rare Wip3out merchandize its good enough for being interesting :P

but i wont buy it (not 15 oyz for this optical crap) - the W'O''-logo should be on something with more design (like a good ol' eastpak...)

When I went to E3 a couple years ago I won a Wipeout 3 bookbag that's really nice. It's not a backpack; it's canvas, and only has a carrying handle and one shoulder strap, and a cover flap with two buckles at the bottom and the Wipeout logo on it. The logo is made of translucent gray plastic letters embedded into the fabric. That's the only logo on it. It's awesome.

I'd love to post a pic of it, but unfortunately I have neither a camera or scanner. Maybe someday. Believe me, there is much nicer merch out there than that backpack. When I won that bag, it was because they had just run out of t shirts that were the same color blue as on this site, and had the "Let's Be Friends!" figures on them. They were pretty cool, too.
