scraping walls

in the phantom league is it wise to scrape walls instead of hitting the breaks hardly and losing lots of time in bends?

You lose more speed from wall scraping than you do from using the brakes, and the shield loss trade-off makes it pointless anyway.

it really just takes practice to not hit the wall on phantom, and you'll still hit a few times, but the point of his post is that neither are really good but if you pick one don't hit the wall and loose energy. (try the Assegai it has high thrust so you will pick up speed faster after you hit the breaks and going around turns)
