As the topic says I can not for the life of me find any renders from the original wipEout bar the one Infox posted in a thread on the second page here. I was wondering if anyone has any other renders from the original wipEout, in particular there are many that appear in game and on American box art which feature Sophia de la Renté's Feisar and Arian Tetsuo's Qirex very prominently.
Anyway, does anyone know of or have any other high-res renders out there and if they do is it possible to share them?

Nope, if you mean the ones I think you mean those were done as a 'proof of concept' and are about the visual quality of w3o, they are also not really indicative of the final design and feature none of the teams from the final game. The only renders I've seen that are actually of the models Carus did for the 'final' craft are the title screen, the Rapier loading screen (Venom features some kinda lame DR artwork) and the American box art (front and back). Oh and obviously the render Infox posted which I gather came straight from the man himself.
The only one I can get easy access to is the one Infox posted (for obvious reasons).

I've been searching through my old magazines and I've found some renders. Sadly, I don't have a scanner so I can't post good quality pictures. Anyway, the images are not very good since there is text over them:

I've got some more pictures from wipeout 2097 in the same conditions. Sorry about the bad quality, I just wanted to let you know that they exist and how they look like.

Wow, Cobol, those are brilliant, is there any possibility of you being able to get a better scanner and making some higher quality versions of those? They'd be really helpful for a project of mine - I've been trying to make some orthographic blueprints of the original wipEout craft but have only had access to a limited few renders, and no shots of the back of the craft, that one of the FEISAR and Qirex is awesome for me.
I don't think the first picture is actually of the FMV version but rather one of the early concept pieces from when they did the Hackers sequence, it's difficult to tell because of the 'bend' of the paper, but it looks quite different to the final version in the second and third pics.
I doubt that's a loop in the third screen, simply because wipEout didn't have any loops, they wouldn't have worked with the physics, besides the vertical structures don't actually line up with the main track, and they look more like skyscrapers than sections of track.
P.S. I'd definetly like to see the 2097 ones if you have the time to scan them, I didn't know there was much in the way of promotional art for 2097 featuring the FMV art.

I can't believe I've never seen any one of those up to now, they have to be somewhere between five to ten years old!

Sorry for the delay. Here are the other promotional pictures from Wipeout 2097/xl I mentioned before. I'm afraid the quality is even worse this time:

See those WipEout 1 ship designs? THOSE are what I want to bring back. I LOOOOOVE the original design.
As for the third image, that does look like a loop. And I remember reading an interview about WipEout Fusion a few years ago. They had always wanted to put loops in a WipEout game, but the PS1's limited power didn't allow the physics for it. Lucky for us! Since those had to be EARLY concept renders, a loop does make sense.
