wipEout pure Qirex - Jedi in disguise?

Does anyone else think that the Qirex ship in pure looks dissarmingly similar to a Jedi Starfighter as used in Episode 3?

I didn't personally but a Star Wars freak friend pointed it out!!!

(btw I do quite like Star Wars as well so as not to offend anyone!:D)

If anything the Qireж LS300 actually looks like the Eldar Falson grav tank sans the turret:

That's an example of the Alaitoc craftworld (pansies who rely on scouts to form the bulk of the army)

I shrunk the picture down and converted it to .gif so it shouldn't strain any 56Kers.

The Qirex LS300 definitely looks like a stripped-down barebones version of that vehicule, no doubt about it.

I was planning on doing a conversion of one of my Falcons into a Qirex LS. If I've got the time I'll give it a shot. Probably won't look too accurate though.

I use the Iyanden craftworld, recently flattened a Grey Knight army with ease using it. Wraithguard pwn all. :wink:
