From reading that aritcle I got the impression DR are a bit :dizzy

heh,you just got that impression?

I thought it was a universal fact that tDR are collectivley a hamper short of a picnic.
It was good when it was new, but the whole "work buy consume die" minimalist b/s irritates me now.

The irritant of that is mostly because society has been driven there - tDR are simply being looked at and gawked becuase they are the little kid who dares to point out that the emperor has no clothes.

There's more to this life than working, buying, having kids and dying to leave them repeat the cycle all over again. But that's something for everyone to find out for themselves.

actually, I happen to have a tDR t-shirt sporting the words 'work buy consume die' on the back. I really like it, and it's in original wipEout font, too. Most people probably don't get the sarcastic touch of it though, I figure...
