Japanese downloads for Region 3 Wipeout Pure?

Does anyone know if I can download and play packs from the Japanese site with an Asian (Region 3) version of the game?

I would have thought so but I couldn't be completely sure. Have you got the Asian version or are you just thinking of getting it?

I have the US version at the moment. Missing all the sweet stuff the Japanese are getting though :( The Asian version's recently become available here in Singapore, but I don't wanna shell out the cash for a dud.
