this i probably old news to some of you but I got linked to here (http://www.r50rd.co.uk/) today.

does anyone know how much of what's shown on there is for real? the vehicle stopping video I recon has GOT to be fake. but god damn I hope it's for real, it's so hard to tell these days.

biped robots are really difficult; although the idea of some eccentric british engineer solving the problem is cool, Honda have spent billions trying it and their best effort is nothing to the robot on show here. And those visual recognition systems are just as unlikely.

Im not sure if its real, but I do know that some guy has made a fully functional mecha with flame throwers... pretty cool.
