1GB duo sticks from the US.

I was searching for one of these big sticks to go with my brand spanking new PSP (when it arrives), and I found some marvellous websites in the US that sell the 1GB sticks for almost half the price of the UK sticks (which retail for approx £100)! 8O
The bummer is though, that these site dont ship internationally :(
Does anyone know if cheap sticks are available in Asia or the Mid-East?, maybe Singapore?
Im going to try contact a friend of mine in the states and ask her to send my one if all else fails.

Yeah it seems a lot more expensive for 1GB sticks here in the UK.

I've been looking around the last few days for good deals but haven't found anywhere cheaper than about £90.

I think apart from playing pure I'd only really use my psp for movies and music so a large capacity memory stick is a must.

perhaps someone in the states would buy one for you and ship it if you paypaled the money to them? i'm sure it would still be cheaper then importing from some sort of online store.
