Myself and Yawnstretch are hoping to hook up two old PSones for a bit of Wipeout2097 at the weekend, just wondering what cable I need?

I know you can link between playstations, but i'm not sure you can link psone's.
Here comes the science..

shows the back of a PSone. No network or link connectors.

shows the back of the PlayStation. The link cable goes in the hole left-of-center.

I think there is no possible way of connecting two PSOnes to eachother, there's just no way, as all the ports known from the back of PSX were reduced to power and A/V output. But hey, you never know what kind of things some ppl might invent to connect 2 PSOnes. (who remembers the GBAOne invention? :)

PS. What happened to Bob Todd's post?

Sorry, my mistake, it'll be two old playstations, not the newer PSones.

If you do link up, you need to play in ardade link, because one on one has cpu assist, so if you are winning you slow down. I don't know of any way to slow this down. there are no gameshark codes I know of to slow this down either. It is not too bad for slowdown except for certain areas of the track with all the ships on. Also, if you are close sometimes it slows down(at least it's not choppy)
