Congrats to Colin and everybody else on the dev team! You pulled of the best starting title for the PSP.

(but we knew that months ago, didn't we... ;) )

heh, just read the Gamespot review of Pure and I can't stop thinking: Don't you just hate them for calling your beautifully designed, graceful crafts 'BOATS'!?

nah better than hating, mock the reviewer that couldnt find the term floaty to describe the feeling, not the programmers and designers that might (until i play it i cannot say) give us back the feeling of the previous games, and who knows maybe improve it? here is to hope.

Don't know if anybody noticed it, but there’s also a short video review where you’ll see the tron-style version of Karbonis, some Zone Mode and one Barrel-Roll. Classic tracks really look better than I expected from the screenshots. For the rest, nothing really new, but this might help waiting until you play it for real.

Why the hell do I live in Europe ?
With Liverpool almost next door… This is beeing unfair.

Footage #9 on gamespot is sooooo sweet. Just look at the style 8O ! This zone mode is looking really nice.

Well done once again!

I luv you Colin!!!! (just joking). :D The guy said that the PSP had a better overall capability than the PS1, something I didn't know!!! I sorta thought it was the other way around, well, that just shows how much I know. Great work again, Colin, for getting such a high score!!! That was just fantastic!!! :P :) :D

Fantastic! Well done Colin and the team! :) Looks like we have the Wipeout we've all been waiting for.
Shame the reviewer didnt think much of the soundtrack though :( but hey, with the ability to import our own music and download new tracks, I think thats a fair trade off.
Congrats again! :)

Just read the ign review, and its much more positive! I CANT WAIT! Importing from US is now a certanty.

Well guys, I think it's safe to say that Colin and the dev team have saved the wipeout franchise. It must have been tremendously difficult to work under so much pressure and meet expectations.. but they did it.. and as a result, we could see a renewed interest in wipeout from the general players.
One odd thing is that the Edge magazine stated it might not be possible to play custom tracks nor select tracks within game (something about slow down /battery run down due to large numberof accesses to UMD)

hmm has it been confirmed?

One stage at a time. ;)

Pure still has plenty of life left in it due to the downloadable content coming soon.

It's just really good to have Wipeout back. There are many series that have been forgotten and left behind, and after Fusion, I feared Wipeout was going to be one of them.

Thankfully, it's back in style.
