Eh... for some reason I have modem, dial-up, but that picture loads fine and fast with mine... dunno why... oh well.
The picture can still be seen anyway.

the normal download rate i see for images is 3 Kb per second. 700 Kb divided by 3 = 233+seconds. that's 3.88 minutes. even if dial-up loaded at the usual max rate of 5.25 Kbps, that would take a touch over 2.22 minutes. if you are loading this image from a site faster than that, you're probably not doing it on dial-up. you then presumably have ISDN or broadband. ''Ecable'' would do it in less than 3 seconds. if you're getting it from your harddrive, then it would be even less.

in any case, no matter what the time required, the image takes up too much space when displayed on the forum pages, and interferes with the look and readability of the forums.

how long does it usually take you to download 700 kilobytes of other people's images from the internet?
