If you're going to use the above feature, please ensure that you didn't enter a fake e-mail address when you registered for the forums, as the bounced mail is cluttering up the server.

i found that this feature on the old EZ-board server drove me crazy filling my in-box. i only used it once. i question the value of even having this option, but i visit the board frequently, so my view is affected by that. Rob, is there a way to eliminate the feature if people with false email addys don't respond to your request?

For the main site, if you don't provide a valid e-mail you don't get to register. But for the forms it's a different matter.

Maybe in the ever elusive "next version."

Man, I hAtE that "feature".

What's even worse is that some boards turn it on by defualt.... Nothing like getting an inbox full of crap, without even expecting it. >_<
